He's thonkin'.
ОтветитьA perspective on what is possibly happening and what I think Travis is at least considering is that they may be in some sort of dream designed to turn them from their path.
ОтветитьLove the Sneakers background music
ОтветитьI am totally hear for Travis piecing together what these guest characters are all about. Now that I am seeing Travis think about what Frida is saying, it got my mind wondering why they are so much against or rather neutral towards the gods. Maybe it has something to do with Aero??? Frida came from there.
ОтветитьF.R.I.D.A. is really a fascinating character but Chetney is right to be wary. It's easy to take their word for it because they sound so confident but we're talking about a robot given life by mages in the age of arcana. The dismissal of the gods is very possibly written into their program and they certainly spent their entire life hearing that propaganda from the people around them. From their perspective humans would be their creators, not the gods. Very unreliable narrator in my opinion but it's so fun to watch.
ОтветитьIt would be ironic if the next pantheon is...Vox Machina. With Kayleth as a goldfish. :-) Remember her assertion at the time...
ОтветитьThey might be a part of the Ruby Vanguard. Or during Aeor 's time, they might be a part of the Care and Culling plot or worked on the development of the God Hammer.
ОтветитьSo the God Killer is able to kill gods, because they will destroy all of their batteries, robbing them of their power and immortality?
ОтветитьOoooooh shoot I'm 4 episodes behind!!! WHY DID I WATCH THIS?! I have so many questions! Hahahaha
ОтветитьAlso Travis, hearing Caduceus' Backstory 4 times before he realizes his own character's last name is the same.
ОтветитьIt will be curious if, within these two split groups, this group ends up being very anti-god with these two guests and then the guests of the other group (assuming there will be) are very pro-god, creating a curious divide within Bells Hells when they finally reunite.
ОтветитьWhat gears are turning in your head to say he's not just part of the "Care and Cull" initiative, but also made it?
ОтветитьIt might be that Matt has decided to move on from exandria? Hopefully he has something else coming down the pipeline. Personally I think a sci-fi campaign would be awesome.
ОтветитьI love when he figures things out ... super dramatic at that, thank you for this!
ОтветитьF.R.I.D.A. is from the society that create god killer weapon. It is on point for them to think of god in this way.
ОтветитьTonyyyyyyyy
ОтветитьFrida is Bolo confirmed
ОтветитьI think the two new PCs are Ruby Vanguard, and that they are with Imogen terrifies me
ОтветитьWait I might have missed something, what was figured out?
Ответитьtoo bad, he can't play Cerrit anymore. maybe campaign 4 he'd go with a Detective type char again XD
ОтветитьThey were already betrayed by someone before. Travis is on a mission to not let it happen again.
ОтветитьI hear what the two of them are saying(some of the holes are very glarring) but then i look at EXU calamity and the power that a betrayer god who had not been worshipped for generation has and i just go, huh i think they have no idea what they are talking about
ОтветитьIsn't it strange? That two people who worship the Dawnfather and are on his good graces, not to mention one of which being a high-tier cleric, has no faith in him?
My theory is that this is part of Ludenus's plan - either by means of a magical item or through Predathos itself, people's faith is being supressed, doubted and questioned - like a global-scaled Suggestion spell, så potent it's nigh impossible to resist. And once the faith of the people is dwindled enough, the gods lose a massive portion of their power and influence, enough so that a æn eldritch entity can take them out.
Predathos isn't just an entity, it's an aspect. A seed of doubt in holy faith which, by sheer definition on Exandria, would mean the end of the gods' influence.
BIG THEORY BELOW
I know CR has its fair share of concessions of realism for the sake of narrative, that's more than okay with me. It's not unheard of or out of the ordinary for characters with past ties to happen to encounter each other (ie Scanlan meeting his daughter). For that reason, I didn't really think anything of Chetney coincidentally being teleported near his mysterious backstory at Uthadurn, and I didn't think much of him happening to encounter an old Lover. Or the fact that FCG just happened to meet his first ever Aeormaton. All of this happening right after the maleous key activates.
But once they said they weren't fans of the Gods, I started to think about it a little harder.
It's all a little too convenient, isn't it? Think about it, they want Imogen, and they know they can't shake her resistance to joining them. Her friends are keeping her head on straight, making sure she doesn't stray. But what if they split the party on purpose: those who can be convinced to change their mind will go with her, and those who can't get split away.
-Fearne is pretty neutral, she's just here to help her friends, especially Orym. She's chaotic and fey, her interest in the God's is surface level anyway.
-The only thing that could shake FCGs belief in the God's would be the one thing he wants to know most: his purpose. And he just so happens to meet another Aeormaton for the first time ever. One offering truths about his origin, one who openly states his dislike of the God's, stressing how he isn't "a product of them".
-And Chetney manages to, by pure chance, encounter an old lover, one who looks like she walked right out of his memories. Hasn't even aged a day. She starts off angry but warms up to him mysteriously quickly, evening hugging him by the episodes end. That's a very quick change of mind for someone who seemingly hated him a few days earlier. Almost like she's tempting him.
Without Orym or Laudna around to keep Imogen on the right path, and with her remaining friends being swayed to perhaps think a certain way, could that could change her mind?
This is looking more and more like a ploy by perhaps the Ruby Vanguard.
kinda of feels like this time is a bit too obvious. I feel like matt is willingly poking at their paranoia
ОтветитьAnd he drinks Carlsberg
Probably the best beer in the world
While I thoroughly appreciate Matt's worldbuilding, I'm really fucking hype to see an Oltgar story arc if they let it happen. I want a normal villain for a while rather than calamity level threats. Just give me a few cool fights and RP episodes.
Other than that, I just want to see one interaction where someone of equal or higher level gets into a fight with Imogen because she enters their head without permission. Matt has been so chill about it and it's genuinely one of the most abrasive things you could possibly do when first meeting someone.
I mean he DID play Cerrit, the man who simultaniously could see through all the schemes and yet was so blind to what was really important 😉
ОтветитьFrida is so suspicious to me. I genuinely thought that I was going insane watching everybody simp them. HE IS SO SUSPICIOUS. An aeormaton is incredibly rare, the chance of meeting one without actually looking for them is so sus, BUT MEETING AN ATHEIST ROBOT JUST AFTER THE APOCALYPTIC SITUATION BH WENT THROUGH?! They are going to get so betrayed. I love christian but his character, nop, scary
ОтветитьI can't wait for the Avenger's level threat this time around to be some Aeormaton that absorbed like half the Pantheon.
ОтветитьI am disappointed that nobody asked FRIDA if they were acquainted with p***y
Ответитьi saw the title of the video before i finished watching the latest episode so i first thought he figured out the real identity of D. But now that i think about it the players probably figured it out when they first heard he was called D
ОтветитьThe Calamity just leveled up his brain lol
ОтветитьHe did figure out Erika's character pretty quickly. The man can catch details before anyone else.
ОтветитьWhat was the background music?
ОтветитьAMAZING use of the Sneakers soundtrack
ОтветитьIs he figuring out the gods want to die
ОтветитьThey had to put Delilah on a different team bc the combined deductive intuition of Marisha and Travis is too dangerous.
ОтветитьTravis utilizing that ADHD superpower of noticing patterns!
ОтветитьI LOVE Travis’s expression…the mind wheels are definitely in overdrive 😂❤❤❤
Ответитьthis is making me realize how similar Christian and Robbie's voices are (for their characters in C3)
ОтветитьMan, it's a journey watching Travis' face during all this. I feel like I miss a lot watching the show on a tablet...
ОтветитьWhat the hell is Ormitons, I can't find this word anywhere 😮
ОтветитьWhat was the context here?
Was this PC the BBEG?
…Is this the soundtrack from Sneakers?
ОтветитьIs that the music in "Sneakers"?
Ответитьtop notch edit
ОтветитьWhat was he figuring out here?
ОтветитьContext?
