This video incorrectly states the OnePlus 12's IP rating which actually is IP65. This was due to incorrect information given to CNET by OnePlus. The video also contains incorrect sizes for the screen and battery which are actually 6.82 inches and 5,400 mAh, respectively. These are entirely Andy's errors that he didn't catch while recording. As punishment, he will not be allowed dessert after dinner. 🍰
ОтветитьAnd it's $699!!
ОтветитьAnd it's $699!!!!!
Ответить..the real battery life doesn't live up the hype, is erratic and random, could be 7h+ sot, or 3,5 - 4hrs on average..
ОтветитьThe camera issues is completely software related... If they aren't willing to invest to make their own camera optimizations, perhaps they could partner with someone to get it up to speed for them.
Ridiculously good gaming phone though
Does anyone know that OnePlus 12 have Android Auto or wireless Android Auto?
ОтветитьSoftware update😂.
No one is keeping their phones longer than 3 years
I switch phones every few years, who cares. People expect too much from phone cameras
ОтветитьSo tired of these reviews bashing camera's..... I believe the average person would be more than happy with the camera on the OnePlus 12. Even the Apple's and the Samsungs and the Pixels can take bad photos from time to time depends on each situation. And let's face it these aren't exactly professionals taking photos with these phones as well. This guy can't even get the specs of the phone correct for Pete's sake. In my opinion you can't go wrong with the price of this phone and this is coming from a OnePlus user.
Ответитьstupid minds obsessed with 7 years support , anyone ever used his phone for 7 years as main device? 4 years is fine even if it mean being 1 or even 2 years behind in terms of software support.
ОтветитьLet's hope that OnePlus addresses it's software issues with photography and video
Ответитьi would order it soon , most of the reviewer are very positive about this
ОтветитьGet the numbers right please. it has 5400 man battery and not 4500.
ОтветитьIn pricing they wanna align themselves with s24 thought
ОтветитьWho keeps phone for 5 years ?
Channels promote phones daily
If companies wanted too then phone releases every 2years
Imo I would not be looking at keeping a phone longer than 5 years tbh,
The camera in pro mode is more than adequate for a phone that is £600 cheaper than the s24 and charges quicker and has zero bloatware.
It's a no brainer tbh.
Finally a phone that doesnt put all the money on the camera, i dont take much photos and most phones advertise having a good camera and i dont care for them. So this is gonna be an upgrade from my 7 pro
ОтветитьBetter for the planet? Great, another climate change religious cultist. Can't these people get through something as simple as a review video without proselytizing?🙄🤣
ОтветитьI love the "blind" photo tests done in which the OP11 beats out the iPhone and Samsung phones, yet everyone always says the same thing. The cameras "underwhelm". The cameras are great and the 5 years of support is fine. Very few owners of high-end phones wait more than 5 years between phones. This phone has the best processor available, the most RAM ever on a smartphone, the brightest screen ever on a smartphone, the best display available, the largest battery available between OP, iPhone, Samsung and Pixel. The fastest charging of any of these 4 brands. For the money, it is a no-brainer for me. Can't wait to get my OP12.
Ответитьapart from price variations, what is the difference between buying oneplus 12 in india and uk ?
ОтветитьSoftware updates can easily address those minor flaws with the camera. Not too worried about it. Overall a great phone for $799 USD!
ОтветитьI do love the look of this phone. That green looks fantastic to me
Ответитьchynese garbage as premium 😂🤣😃
ОтветитьI hate that they compare this phone to the ultra and pro models. Compare it to the ones in its price range. Regular S24 and Regular iPhone 15. It is called Oneplus 12. There is no pro or ultra in its name. This phone blows them away in every aspect except for an ip rating.
ОтветитьI just cant get on board with nitpicking over software support commitments that far outlive the battery in the device. Often, it's cheaper to trade in your 4 year old device for a new one than it is to replace the battery. It's neither economical nor a good cost-benefit for most people to pay for a replacement battery for a 3-4 year old phone.
ОтветитьThis or the pixel 8 pro?
ОтветитьIs it available globally?
ОтветитьOnePlus somehow never nails the camera at launch. Just like the 9 Pro. As long as they still listen to feedback it can get very promising with updates. They have the hardware. 👍
ОтветитьThinbs down this absolute garbage
ОтветитьFlat or curved screen?
ОтветитьWho keep a phone more than 4 years in these days 🤦♂️?
ОтветитьOhh no, a 5 year update cycle, it’s not as if most people realistically exchange their phone every 2-3 years cuz the battery sucks by that time
ОтветитьPlease, next time review whether a phone causes eye strain (pwm flickering eye strain issue in OLED displays). Thanks.
ОтветитьI almost didn't get the 11 because reviewers talked bad about the camera i ended up really liking it. Im sure this camera is great. I even took some great photos with the Nord N30 but it had to be in good lighting.
ОтветитьWhat kind of wet fart review?
ОтветитьI find it strange that you're calling the cameras underwhelming when they are generally being heaped with praise everywhere else. I wonder what you're seeing that others apparently aren't. Glad you mentioned the software updates - I can't even find mention of it on their website. I'm okay with 4/5 years of updates. I've never kept a phone in daily use longer than 4 years anyway. I'm normally 2-3. Although my daughter is still running my OG OnePlus 3 as her daily. That's coming up on 8 years old now, original battery and everything.
ОтветитьThey are not available in Australia.
ОтветитьThat camera peninsula. Yikes. Gimme andS23U any day
ОтветитьI just placed my pre-order earlier today. It's unfortunate that we're not getting the white exterior color here in the USA.
It was between this and the S24 Ultra for me. I really wanted the flat and rectangular screen of the S24 Ultra but for the price, specs, and 16GB of RAM, I felt the OnePlus 12 was the better value.
There is a night mode. Google automatically uses it it, OnePlus doesn't
ОтветитьIt would be absolutely perfect if the IP rating was better.
ОтветитьSeems to me many of the complaints about the camera will be worked out in software updates. As the reviewer himself said, it is surprising that these camera sensors would have trouble like this with the lighting, and even the OP11 did better in nighttime shots.
These are clear indicators that this is a software issue that will be worked out before too long. And in the interim you can just use GCam or any alternate camera software for night shots. Really not as big a deal as being made here, unless the overwhelming majority of your phone snaps are made at night.
Why does the U.S. cap charging at 80 watts?😢
ОтветитьSo... Like all OnePlus phones... It's mediocre
ОтветитьA small detail that has bugged this Lefty is that all the designs are for the righty people. In screen fingerprint helps slightly but volume controls are used more than think.
Considering how woke the world is becoming I'm making a stand for us Ginger Lefties!!!
We are such a minority but this time next week we will have our own presence on the LGBTQTRSYBZ+ flag.
With your help we can change this rightism and make people aware that design is Lefties too.
I will refuse to pay for my goods when the reader is placed on the right.
Lefties forever!!
(An obvious prank but a little truth when it comes to tech). 👍
"As long as you're not that into your photography..." If you are into your photography you take photos with a real camera, not a phone.
ОтветитьOneplus OS have went down in terms of features. Every update it seems like they are removing things. On top the updates are slow and support sucks.
Ответить
