Paper Mario: Color Splash - Full Game 100% Walkthrough

They could easily remake this game by changing some of the controls. For instance, they could change the cut-out paperization mechanic from touchscreen to point and click and motion controls. As for the animation that looks like the world turning into a piece of paper. Instead of going to the bottom screen, they could change it to the animation where it looks like you're flipping the page of a coloring book. Motion controls for the cut-out, and point and click for the cards and painting. As for the battle system. Just replace the touch pad menu with an on screen command menu similar to the TV screen Paper Mario games like Thousand Year Door and of course the current Origami King. And the cards will have categories. To help with the usual clutter issue just like this game and Sticker Star. The categories would be Jump attacks, Hammer Attacks, Items, Enemy Assists, and Things. And instead of it being out of order. It would show you number of each card in every separate list. So you can properly choose the amount of times you wanna use the attack in one card or how powerful you want the attack. Other than constantly looking through an unorganized stack of cards which would take forever.

This needs to be remade for Switch. There is nothing an on-screen card deck and motion controls can't handle. Touch screen games are over-rated nowadays. It's a good game. Just combine the controls of Color Splash with Origami King (which is just as good), and BOOM Color Splash Remake! (Sticker Star can get crumbled and thrown in the shredder even if it was good in the 3DS days). I mean come ON! a big screen inventory and battle commands were put in Origami King's fights. And it shouldn't be THAT hard to replace Touch screen with point-and-click and motion controls.

God how wrong they are because they’ve either never played the first 3 let alone the first 2 paper Mario games or don’t realize this game is just the same atrocity Sticker star was but made better, doesn’t change it’s still one of the lesser Paper Mario games but I will give it that it’s underrated and only didn’t sell too well because of its precursor being Sticker Star

I remember when I first played this game in like 2017. It was so fun and the last time I played it was April of 2020. Recently I revisited this game and I still enjoy it. It brought so many memories of me playing this game years ago and it’s one of my favourite Mario games
