ОтветитьDo you gut load your flies?
ОтветитьIntro- John Wick from insect realm....
ОтветитьSo cool also thanks
ОтветитьLove the music
ОтветитьThis is so cool!!!
ОтветитьCan you do another update on this with orchid mantis? I'm from Norway and I'm completely new. She is an L-4 I understood from the one I bought from.
There are some things I'm wondering that haven't been answered. Also regarding flies and feeding in general. I have a zilla micro habitat size L. I wish I could show a picture here. <3 :)
I am from Nagaland and i am a teacher of insect
ОтветитьJust bought my first mantis, a dead leaf. Learnt so much from you not expressed from where I bought it. thanks. Ps, It, Woody, just took its
first meal, from me, of a maggot, by hand.
Best video about mantis care, very down to earth. People online go a bit crazy sometimes, I am ordering thru your site some hopefully soon, thank you 🙏
ОтветитьDo you ship to Norway? Would you like to post a new updated video?❤💕
ОтветитьMy favorite insect praying mantis❤❤
ОтветитьSmashing video bud love all the mantis side of videos best I see in my eyes smashing work an info
ОтветитьVery informative video here! I have a question: If I ever manage to breed them, have you ever heard of breeders who let their mantises go to live out in the "wild" like some butterfly breeders do?.....Thanks!
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic, informative video. I'm on my 2nd mantis now after a pretty bad mis molt on my first Chinese mantis. Now I'm trying my hand at a spiny flower mantis. Looks like a little ant lol. I'm excited to see it grow and thrive. I love this new found hobby and it's really helping me overcome my fear of most insects. Just trying to understand them better. They live in our world, and our world wouldn't be what it is without insects.
ОтветитьI just bought an enclosure from you, any luck on getting more of those pads or enclosures in stock? Thanks!
ОтветитьBugs in Cyberspace
Do you sell Panther Mantis and how much, because I plan to buy one in the near future? Are you on Instagram?
Thank you so much for answering my questions😃. I will feed my praying mantis more and have the enclosure with humidity. I don't really know what to do because i was not expecting eggs. I don't have enclosures for the babies. What should i do? Were do i get the enclosures for the right price? Thank you for the help
ОтветитьThank you so much this helps a lot i'm so excited to raise baby praying mantises 😁
ОтветитьMy praying mantis laid eggs without mating. Will the eggs hatch? I found my mantis outside. I have had her for a few months so i don't think she would have laid the eggs by now if she would have mated.
ОтветитьI know this video is old. But I recently bought a ghost mantis from a local pet store. They have the mantis in a cup and have dumped many tiny crickets into the cup. Should I invest quickly in a container specifically for the mantis or will the mantis be okay for a little while?
I should add that these crickets are very very tiny comparative to the mantis. almost fruitfly tiny.
MANTIS CARE FOR TECHNO, BUB
ОтветитьOMG you dropped the little man😂
ОтветитьWow!!!!! I've never come across such an informative video about mantis keeping. Thanks so much 🙏💕 new sub here xxx
ОтветитьHELP! Thank you for this video. I got a boy that came for help and I got him a good enclosure based on your advice but I can't figure out what wont hurt his feet! At first I got very wide metal mesh (1/2 centimeter wide) then I read wire mesh rips their feet. Then I put very grippy shelf liner with holes.... will this rip his feet hooks out? HEEELP, I want to be able to rerelease him and I'm not sure what I'm doing. THANK YOU
ОтветитьFor dirt is Coconut Coir okay? Can it be the dirt that you add water to and it spreads and makes more?
ОтветитьHi I do not know if anyone will see this, but is it completely safe to feed my mantis wild grasshoppers? I recently found a little female in the wild, I live in a very very dry area and I thought that it would struggle to find humidity for molting etc, so I decided to take care of her, I fed her a small grasshopper that I found outside and she snatched it after a few hours of getting comfortable in her new environment, however after that scary thoughts came to me like "what if she gets sick?" Any answer will be great, thank you!
ОтветитьHELP! Where can i go for mantis advice? I'm trying to save this little guy that can't fly and won't leave my home. Want to do what's best for him
ОтветитьQuestion! My Mantis
Annika is eating her first cricket (fresh caught) and is almost done and I notice she is doing this little up and down/back and forth movement with her behind. Do you know why she would be doing that?
TY!!
Hey 👋 I ordered a mantis kit from your bugsincyberspace for my L4/L5 Australian Giant, will it be suitable for it?
ОтветитьSucks that they only live for a year :/
ОтветитьMine thistle mantis stopped moving why 😔
ОтветитьI have many baby mantis this video helped me a lot
ОтветитьGreat quality video very clear and precise information. Thanks ☺️
ОтветитьA fruit fly culture of mine is doing something I wasn't expecting. The flies seem lethargic. I am feeding them to praying mantids and a surprising number of mantids are dying. Could the 2 problems be related?
ОтветитьMy orchid mantis Peaches just moulted for the first time - super surprised me that she pretty much doubled!
ОтветитьJust want to say thank you for this, watched the whole thing and no doubt will again.. I just got my first 3 L-1s in Poland.. Came in a kit exactly like your things included. Your info is all exactly what I needed. Cheers. Love the intro guy and music too by the way hah! What type of mantis is it?
ОтветитьWe have a ghost mantis its about 3/4 of and he is amazing i was thinking of getting a orchid mantis where can i buy one
ОтветитьMy mantis is living in a bio tank with a corn snake, so far so good lol
ОтветитьWhat is the COST ?
ОтветитьI assume Mediterranean mantids tolerate heat as much as any kind, since they live in Bullhead City, where it exceeds 120 degrees, but I had some in glass jars and they got so hot that they died.
ОтветитьI'm amazed that you keep more than 1 so close together. Are some kinds not cannibalistic?
ОтветитьI've kept Mediterranean mantids mostly. The boys seem to die quickly, but girls can live for a year. Do I need to do something extra for the boys?
ОтветитьI've always assumed they molted regularly and didn't know that the older they are, the less frequently they molt. I had one go months without molting. I wrote to Guinness Book of World Records to tell them about it and they weren't interested. Maybe they don't love insects enough.
ОтветитьI had a Chinese mantis eat a cricket and it didn't digest that long stem of the cricket and it died.
ОтветитьSomeone found a European mantis near Kiev. She gave it water and it died. Could the proximity to Chernobyl have tainted the water so much that it caused its death?
ОтветитьHow late in the year will eggs hatch? I just bought some Chinese mantis egg cases, but I'm not ready to feed them, so I'd like to wait. Will they still hatch if I put them out on, say, September 1?
ОтветитьBe careful with spiders. The spider often wins. I had one catch a spider, the spider bit it, and both died. One of my mantids recently got stung by a bee that I tried to feed it and died. I had one eat so many bees that its side split open and it died. I could write a long, painful book about all the ways I've killed mantids.
