more D&D stuff
ОтветитьI loved all of this. I played AD&D in the 80s in high school. We were dedicated...ish. But, we had so much fun!
ОтветитьThe orange box was my introduction too. Who would've thought D&D would take us here? That game opened a lot of doors over the years. I met my partner at a D&D table. Thank you for sharing this with us.
ОтветитьEven as some one that probably qualifies as a smelly old uncle i loved it
ОтветитьWhat other RPGs have you played?
ОтветитьSimilar good memories of 3rd edition, thank you
ОтветитьFor my friends and I it was Shadowrun who did that. 2nd edition. We had so much fun. Overtime we tried and play many other RPGs and of course D&D. Wish we could play more often.
ОтветитьPlease continue with more DnD stories and figure painting.
ОтветитьDo you still play D&D?
ОтветитьHow old are you?
Ответить"The twentieth anniversary of the 3rd edition of D&D" Wait that can't be right. I was a teenager when 3rd edition came out...thinking...math...ah fuck. I've just mentally aged substantially and will never recover.
ОтветитьThis was so sweet and nice! Great stuff!
Ответить3rd edition is the only D&d version I missed out on!
ОтветитьPut your comments in the garbage 😂😂😂🤣
Ответить3rd/3.5 D&D are my favorite games of all time. Much Love Dana!!
Ответить3.5
ОтветитьMore dnd! More u talk and paint! I could listen for hours.
ОтветитьThank you 😊
Makes me tempted to try out d&d
yes I really want to hear more about your d&d games. Talk about your own world please
ОтветитьLove the channel and video! Thanks for sharing your D&D history!
ОтветитьHigh school and college seem to be the golden time for RPGs in people's lives. While you are busy you still have a fair amount of control of your time and your friends likely have similar schedules. As an adult with spouse, kids, job it is very hard to commit to being at something like that regularly. We have a blood bowl league that meets every 2 weeks for about a 3 to 4 month stretch off the year. While we like to all get together and do our games all at once usually at least 1 game is played at another time each session due to scheduling issues.
ОтветитьHeck ya, definitely more non-Warhammer material!!! I’ll consume anything painting related haha. Love the split screen chat/paint.
ОтветитьMOAR DND
ОтветитьThat 3rd Edition box was my very first foray into D&D. So much nostalgia for me here. Sometimes I miss that old edition.
ОтветитьNew favorite channel!
ОтветитьI would love to learn more about your back story!
ОтветитьI really like the vibe of this video, and all the colors, what editing software do you use? For like the filters and the texts?
ОтветитьMore of this please. I like nerd storys.
ОтветитьI love this game and play 3rd/3.5 edition, I've gathered many books of those editions and it's helped open options for my campaigns, including more character classes
ОтветитьThis touches my heart
ОтветитьTime to ask Guy where he gets his motorized turntable. :)
ОтветитьNice, I'm from Brazil and We had to waiting to translate to portuguese, some of friend had the Players Handbook in english, so we started to play even we don't understand english very well, but I wait a year to lunch thoses books in portuguese and I become a Dungeon Master, teached my two brothers and some friends to play with us. Nice times, good memories
ОтветитьNothing like a good origin story ...
ОтветитьI fear my bag smells like old uncle now...
ОтветитьMore DnD please! That was excellent :D
ОтветитьMy uncle ran D&d for us as well. I still have some of his books.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this! I'm new to DnD at 35 and I'm loving the new comaraderie.
ОтветитьDoes the campaign site still accessible? Would you share that or the novel?
ОтветитьGood video, I like the two narratives, while you talk about your passion you show a process of painting a miniature. I like trpgs and I never had books until this pandemic, I have bought a lot of Pathfinder 1e books and they are compatible with D&D 3.5 and you can also use D&D 5 stuff, it's amazing.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing Mrs. Dana!
I had some fond memories in highschool and even had a few sessions with Marine brethren in Iraq to pass the time. Yknow, to escape reality from time to time. Great Video
d20 Modern was a lot of fun back then. I met my wife playing AD&D 2nd ed in the early 90's.
ОтветитьHave you had a chance to try the fmf version of the privateer press rpg? I adore that game to pieces.
Ответить3.5 👍
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this, so thank you very much! I love watching you paint, as it is very instructive and super helpful. Great video with the painting and personal narrative together.
ОтветитьOne of the greatest things about ttrpg's is the real life xp's we gain from playing them and all the stories we have to share with each other. I'd love to see more videos like this.
ОтветитьYou're awesome. Marry me, por favor.
ОтветитьFun fact, WotC didn't even write 3.X, they only published the product. TSR had started writing 3.0 in 97 after the 2.5 update books had launched. By the time WotC/Hasbro bought it in 99 the books were written and ready to go.
Ответитьis your friends character a war domain cleric or the spell sword prestige class?
ОтветитьDnD 3.0 and the monster manual, was the motivation for me to start painting and drawing. Now 20 years later, Im a profesional illustrator ;3
