i miss this era of wsop.. its gotten too big, hasnt been interesting in long time... miss this format..now its hard to even find the final table game, there isnt much characters like they used be (and noone famous or Pro Players we know are ever at the table ..! but yeah from 839 to 10k players over last 20 years of wsop... ive never understood why they never had a pro wsop game where its only recognized players.. they would do better in ratings...

This is for sure 1 of the best classic battles. Shieky knows how to be passive aggressive and get under peoples skin. And Mike, I love the guy, hes 1 of my favorites for sure but, he for sure has had some bad luck and bad moments too. 2004 Main Event, if he doesnt get 3 outered, he coulda won maybe if not got a lot better finish clearly.

ya the 90's was all about fake rivalries to drum up ratings/sales. think about it you had all those jerry springer shows, you had that fake tupac and biggie drama, there are an endless list of examples but i can only think of those off the top of my head. when matusow basically is giving chips to that sheikh dude that isn't rivalry. going in on a 7 2, calling his all in ya right. they gotta be working together.
