Her life story speaks of incredible resilience and incredible willpower. What a warrior this woman! I was left utterly speechless after this 21 minute episode. The fact that people have to go through these atrocities.. What kind of world are we living in? Why are we not standing up as humanity? She deserves all the happiness she can carry for the rest of her life. I live in the Netherlands, very safe and sound. This episode changed my view, I am going to rethink and reshape my life and enjoy it more. Valuing the little things to the fullest. Wauw...

Im crying bless her heart, the fact she is even still smiling and laughing with everything she has dealt with in her life, I am in awe of how much respect I have for her.

I feel like everybody should be able to go wherever they want to go and if any country is making you stay there other countries together should take them out but I getting you got all these peach trees and things in that nature but everybody should be free to go where they want to go and we should all be treated equally but that's not the case and the United States of America because foreigners can come here and get everything and citizenship and can possibly end up being the boss of an American person but you can't do that where they come from so that's something that I don't like but everybody should still have the freedom to move around to wherever they please to go

How ironic how she used her chinese language skills, which came about from something evil, to save her traffickers in the cab which in turn saved her. I cried when she was talking about her son and calling him. Seeing and experiencing both worlds must give her a very deep appreciation for family and freedom.

When she said she told the drunken Chinese man who wanted to sell her son "If you touch my son, I kill you. He's my family. He's given me dreams and he's given me some hope." I felt that on a deep level. That's pure love and devotion from a mother to protect their child.

"Bloody immigrants, coming over here, ruining our country." How many others like her have been turned away from a better life because of misplaced prejudice? So glad she made it.

I absolutely loathe China with every fiber of my being for no other reason than their refusal to look the other way when North Korean defectors cross the border. They don’t even have to give them asylum, but at a bare minimum don’t drag then back to North Korea when you come across them. That’s straight up evil. Send them to South Korea if you don’t want them to stay in China. But no, that’s too kind. The Chinese go out of their way to gleefully return defectors back into the hands of one of the most evil regimes to have ever existed.

Her strong willingness bring her and beloved son to better place and meet good people, especially the pastor.. bless this mom
