love it, cheap as chips and easy to make.
ОтветитьFinally an easy self explanatory glue up method..I will be doing this tomorrow 👍
ОтветитьThanks a lot. I'll make my glued outside barn door with pieces of (2 X 4) + 2 holes and a wedge to glue the inside panels together. Why buying shits that are way too expensive when your job is to deal with problems with wood.
ОтветитьThanks Izzy
ОтветитьNice. I wish i would have seen this before I spent 120 bucks on the Rockler clamping system
ОтветитьI’ll save money now after watching this video, thank you 😊
ОтветитьSuch a great idea and easy to make, thanks
ОтветитьAwesome. Got to build these today as I have a panel to glue tomorrow. @Izzy : what would you recommend as the finished thickness of each of the top and bottom boards? 1" thick each? Thanks for all your inspiring videos.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьMr.Izzy I need to see more of videos like this your friend Phillip white of Dublin ga.thanks
Ответитьlook at trapezoidal lead screw 8mm xm 300mm stainless steel $13.00 Australian used in 3D printers, multi start thread, really fast
Ответитьthat is freakin awesome.. Thanks for this!!
ОтветитьIt's nice
ОтветитьBrilliant !!!
ОтветитьMight wanna start going easy on the Johnson's Wax. They aint making it anymore
ОтветитьAlpha
Ответитьyou saved my money >>>>thanks
ОтветитьThank you for that!
Ответитьi like it it’s amazing
ОтветитьSo simple and absolutely genius! Love all your stuff man 👊👍👍
ОтветитьSimple and good.
ОтветитьPure genius
ОтветитьWow, impressive and such a great vibe in the vid!
ОтветитьThat is fantastic! A few less clamps needed, I was wondering how I was going to afford all those clamps😮. Thanks for the very useful information.
ОтветитьBetter
ОтветитьVery nice, especially for people who don't want to spend hundreds on clamps for one or two projects. Thanks for sharing!
Ответить💪💪💪
Ответитьwell that's some low tech brilliance!
ОтветитьVery beautiful.
ОтветитьI love these. Seen a lot similar and you made them easy. Indo like your show.
Ответитьold school is best! TY!!
ОтветитьI see this is 4 years old! How in the world did I miss this. I'm going to build one today. Thanks so much for your content. Although some of it is a little intimidating for a dummy like me to make, it is awesome content. I hope you don't get tired of making these videos!
ОтветитьWedge the top.
ОтветитьI have been looking at different clamping methods for a couple of months now and see all kinds of overly complex systems and the need for a ton of clamps to do anything but this is A W E S O M E.
I know what my next project will be so I can move on to some of the other stuff I've been wanting to build.
What is the attachment used on the drill ?
ОтветитьHeck I've just saved a stack of money thank you so much
ОтветитьI'd suggest moving to the next hole and using a thicker wedge so that it's easier to tap out when your glue dries.
Ответить60 years a joiner and never seen these .
ОтветитьWouldn’t the glue come out and adhere to the clamps then?
ОтветитьGreat, I had never seen these before
ОтветитьMuch thanks for this one! Good to know the "old ways" aren't dead!
Ответить10 outa10
ОтветитьI am on a fixed income and this clamping system is exactly what I need. Thank you!
ОтветитьWhat is that accordion-style multiple hole marking tool called?
ОтветитьI need a bunch of clamps for a one-off project, so was looking for some diy options so I don't have to spend hundreds. This might not be best option. All I need to do to build my own 25 quid clamp is 1000 quid worth of tools. And then a clamp :D I can see appeal of this, but I'll just see myself out.
ОтветитьA Festool style MFT pretty much has this built in.
ОтветитьI made these and I waxed everything EXCEPT the wedges to prevent glue sticking ,the wedges don’t jamb in, they keep slipping out. Is it because of the wax or do the wedges have too much angle?
Ответитьoh buddy!!! have i ever needed this one!! i like wood working but clamps arnt cheap and this was exactly what i needed. thank you!
ОтветитьMakin those today. Canadian moved to Sierra Leone full off grid beachside / jungle livin
