Intensive interaction is important to learn . Videos free on line
ОтветитьFor all parents of nonverbal level 3 autism. I’m a psychologist and I used NeurOptimal on him with attachment therapy and in one week he went from 2 words to sentences now after 30 sessions he is having complex conversations. I have only this one story to tell as I don’t normally work with autism but as a parent it’s worth looking at. I told the mum the beginning I didn’t know if it would help so I’d give her 3 free session. It’s been life changing. Also I stopped all discussions in front of him as if he wasn’t thee or if he was a problem. Thi also had a dramatic affect . The mother has also used diet which ended fits and calmed outbursts. The amazing woman in England who does intensive communication. Entering into their language helped enormously.
ОтветитьI feel like you are telling my story . Only the last part of the story tells us missing. I will do that
ОтветитьThank you so much William! So helpful and give parents some insight into how we can advance our children’s speech and development ❤
ОтветитьThank you so much for this educational video
ОтветитьThank you so much. I have a nonverbal 7 year old who understands so much and used to have about 5 words that weren’t clear, but now only says 1 word ‘mom’ when frustrated. It’s very difficult to find verbal people who were once nonverbal at the typical speaking age to share their stories. I appreciate it so so much. ❤️
ОтветитьAt that time ur mom done therapies.. Thank you for sharing
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video.
ОтветитьHow can one think without words? I know animals do, but do nonverbal autistic people understand all that is said to them? How involved are their thoughts?
ОтветитьWow amazing.
ОтветитьAmen God is good.
My son is 4 years old just been diagnosed with Autism we had to wait on the list for nearly 2 years.
I was suspicious since he was nearly 2 years old. He is non verbal and I am hoping that one day he will be able to speak good thing is since I changed the nursery to a far better school he begun to say mama, daddy, baby, bye bye, let’s go go go go, but,
I am so happy he is super intelligent because I can see his understanding is really good very observant to details.
After seen your video today I got very emotional and believe me or not I am so delighted for your great accomplishment.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I had to slow my sons speech down. He started talking when he was over 3 yrs old.
ОтветитьMy boy doesnt read books he refuses to look at them. Doesnt copy and doesnt pay attention unless its on tv so its different for every child. He never liked books his body is very sensory seeking and he needs to regulate it alot .
ОтветитьAlways knew non verbals were faking it.
ОтветитьThis gives me so much hope for my baby. These are the same things, me and my son father have been doing with my son since he was born. He is 3 and knows his abc and 123 in spanish and in english. He is finally able to say some words.❤❤❤ Thank you so much for this video. It feels good to know I'm doing something right with my baby for his autism
ОтветитьWow man, you have a great mom!
ОтветитьGreat story. Thanks for sharing that william. Your mom is indeed a super hero.
ОтветитьPlease kindly reply
ОтветитьAt what age you have proper sentencing speech???
ОтветитьI'm so ignorant on autism but lately I really am trying hard to learn more on this topic, so thank you for your video
ОтветитьI doubt you were ever nonverbal. You are just weird
Ответитьyour mum is awesome!
ОтветитьWhat a blessing to have such a dedicated mother ❤️💕
ОтветитьThank you so much for your insight. As a speech pathologist that works with Autistic children, it’s great hearing about what worked for you.
ОтветитьAny suggestions about having my son diagnosed?
He’s almost 30, born with Down’s Syndrome, used to LOVE his Sesame Street Search n Learn game, and used to have about 350 signs… before our world turned upside down.
We’re slowly becoming more stable, and I hope to work with him again. He had learned mostly because of Thomas the Train and Curious George - still his favorites. I helped George do what my son needed to do, then he would copy his buddy. His PCP didn’t want to add a label on him, and he was sick so much that I finally home schooled him, so school didn’t give him an autism diagnosis either. A heart surgeon was the first to ask if my son was autistic when he was 12.
BRAVO.❤
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this! As a father of a "non verbal" autistic 8 yr old son ( with lots of work from him his mom and I and aba and speech therapies and he can say roughly 13-25 words now and continuing to be able to say more. Ive subscribed and shared you channel on our non profit page aatap as well :) thank you for doing this videos and im going to look into the learning curriculum that helped you 😊
Ответить棒棒哒妈妈是一位很棒的语言专家❤
ОтветитьI did many of these methods when my son was growing up. He now fully understands about 95% of what is being said. When it comes to speech he knows te words but does not want to use them . He will repeat if i prompt but will not say them on his own unless its something he really really wants. Any suggestions on how to et him to talk over using gestures. Thank you
ОтветитьI hear of people going from non verbal to verbal autistic a lot. But never the other way. Do people go from verbal to non verbal, or verbal to semi verbal? :)
ОтветитьWhy are these unbelievably important videos on this specific topic so damn short and vague?!
ОтветитьThank you sir
ОтветитьThis was helpful .Thanks so much
ОтветитьAt what age u were non verbal
ОтветитьTHANK YOU!!!
ОтветитьThank you I am going to have my daughter watch this ,, 3 out of her 4 are nonverbal …

ОтветитьThank you for sharing your story! Your mom is obviously a Rock Star and so are you!❤
ОтветитьAutism is for nerds. No thanks
ОтветитьWhat a great mom.Thank you and God Bless you.
ОтветитьThis truly works, my was son is 7 now but was non verbal until around 4-5 years old, so i understand
ОтветитьYou are a very good man
Thank you 😊
It has. Thank You. God Bless You!
ОтветитьAppreciate your videos. My verbally delayed autistic son is five and while he uses a lot of words and phrases now, it is mostly non functional and there is a lot he can’t express. What I don’t understand with the ABA tactic you mentioned using a favorite food or toy, is what do you do if he can’t say or sign what you want? You just withhold is favorite things? That seems cruel to me and I could never do that.
ОтветитьGreat ideas , thank you! My 3 year old daughter is considered non verbal (says about 20 words) I’m going to give this a try with her.
