DAMN that's a good trailer! I remember Dust 514, but this seems like they're going the RIGHT direction. It's ballsy to try this again, but if they can get it right, it'll be one hell of an addition to the game and it's universe! Then having an entire joinable Rat faction for Faction Warfare? Oh hell yes :D

I use to play EVE online, and when Dust 514 dropped, picked up a PlayStation just to play it in preparation for it being connected to Eve online. Was a massive disappointment to me when it did not happen. It being a PlayStation exclusive was a horrible idea. I'm happy the idea has been rebuilt and made available on PC. I think it will have a ton of success considering the current gaming landscape.

Just started this video. Was looking thru an old email and saw something about claiming my old dust514 name and found out this was coming online this December!!!!!!?? What timing huh? Dust made me stop playing any other game while it lived lol.

I'm about to go do some research on it but anyone know if this is going to be the nowadays Dust514 or is it something else? They say fps.

Dear CCP, consider to add combat inside capital ships not only planets/moons. Ether as missions to extract something during an ongoing battle or just take it over.

Uh, so this trailer told me absolutely nothing useful about what this expansion is or what to expect from it. CCP, sometimes I think you get so caught up inside your own heads of "out-awesomeing" the last trailer that you sort of forget to tell people what the hell it's actually going to do for them. As a one-time EVE player that drops in now and then just to see what's up, I haven't been in the loop on New Eden in over a year, this trailer pops up in my feed, I click it out of curiousity, and it tells me jack sh** about what Havoc actually is. All I get is yet another dystopian cliche arch-villain style testosterone-fest video that's basically f***ing useless in helping me decide if I still give a sh*t about EVE or not. Production value is fine, but man this so misses the mark of drawing in players that aren't already following EVE every day. Sigh. This fails the Marketing 101 basics of tell people what you're selling other than "awesome looking trailer".

If this is Dust 514 version 2.0, I really hope that CCP learned from their massive mistake of the past. They made it an exclusive on the Sony Playstation platform, which excluded a lot of players. It died on that platform. Please learn from Warframe! Makes it cross-play and cross-save on Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo!

This is why (after 10 YEARS ingame) I "won" EVE 3 years ago. No First Person Gameplay. CCP tried once, and publicly, embarrassingly, Failed. I know, I was there.
I do not count "DUST 514" as being inside and integral to EVE, it was a separate game. So I will watch, waiting to see if CCP has re-grown it's cojones. But THIS time there had better be gameplay instead of just "your 'toon limited to one room and a balcony"... If this "New WIS" is not ME walking and flying and fighting and dying INSIDE New Eden... then it's still a fail.
The game I play now... has ALL of that... and so very very much more.
