too much pink!!! xD
ОтветитьUh.. Okay. I can't share the same sentiments :P
ОтветитьIn the movie, her character is made to look like an off-key opera singer. She is actually a talented beautiful singer.
ОтветитьThe first time I saw this, I didn't like her, but the second time I liked Carlotta a lot better than Christine...
ОтветитьI'd LOVE to play Carlotta! The actress is probably the sweetest woman you could meet, but if she's anything like me, she loves playing mean girl parts! They're so fun!
ОтветитьHas the pitch of this been raised? Ilove it, I just noticed ;)
ОтветитьThey try so hard to keep her to spite the phantom. They don't want someone else bossing them around and running their opera house so they're doing the opposite of everything he tells them to do.
Ответитьahahahahah i like the part where they all took a deep breathe :D:D
Ответитьthat gets me everytime too. I laugh every time I watch that part I'm like *DEEP BREATH* BREATH BREATHE CLEAR!!!!! SING!!!! whew its over....lol.
Ответитьcall me crazy but after watching this a few times I now find this film more funny than serious but I grew up loving musicals and still do. it's just they have such classic moments you can't help but laugh at. I guess their getting better at capturing our imagination with the old favorites in new ways of course.
Ответитьwhy does firmin drink from her shoe?
ОтветитьSimon cowell!!
ОтветитьIts apart of the scene to make it funny
ОтветитьIt's a way to appease her, I think: to get her to perform again.
ОтветитьIt's actually a theatre luck thing. I don't remember the origin, but there are a lot of odd traditions running around in theatre :P
Ответить"would u rather have your precious little ingenue!" lol i love that line
ОтветитьNow I'm curious about how it would've been if Christine played the Countess.
ОтветитьLol does he really have to drink from her shoe?
Ответитьyeah but this version is cool too....
Ответитьdon't judge me that I haven't noticed it before.. but i finally got the pun!! <3
Ответитьso true!
ОтветитьOh, I Can't imagine. >.< She is too childish for this. Minnie plays it amazingly....
ОтветитьLOL Minnie's face at 1:41 :)))))
ОтветитьÉ a canção mais bonita do filme!
ОтветитьIKR??!!
Ответитьchida rola me gusta mucho,de hecho todas las de la pelicula .
ОтветитьI love Carlotta's vibrato!! But Christine's voice is so clear...
ОтветитьSay what you want about this movie, Minnie Driver is HILARIOUS as Carlotta! She's just such a diva!
ОтветитьWhy did he drink wine out of her shoe?
ОтветитьWho is singing for Minnie Driver. I can't believe that she has a beautiful voice like this.
ОтветитьThat's just the French for you. They also eat snails.
ОтветитьLove this scene!
ОтветитьMy knowledge of this tradition is limited but I can provide you with a basic answer. The lead is on stage for excessive amounts of time and leads to sweating, which as pretty much anyone can tell you stinks. So to cut back on the stench wine is poured into the shoes to act as a perfume. They drank the wine so A. As not to waste it and B. it was a sort of good luck ritual of sorts. There may be a bit more to the history but I am not aware of it. Hope this helps more than than ClassV's did.
Ответитьwhat is given to Carlotta at 0:57? o.O
Ответитьa handwarmer
ОтветитьIf you pause the video at 32 seconds, you will see that the portrait is of Carlotta holding Andrew Lloyd Webber's head on a platter
Ответить........ wow they really knew how to kiss up back then
ОтветитьI cant believe this is the same woman who voiced Jane in Tarzan.
ОтветитьSO IT IS TO BE WAR BETWEEN US
Ответитьfreewolf may be correct but I also read that it was a sign of respect and tribute to whomever the shoes belonged to, in this case Carlotta.
ОтветитьIts cool
Ответитьno tengo palablas
ОтветитьI frakkin love the phantom of the opera
ОтветитьI like how Carlotta's voice is way more rough around the edges, compared to Christine's refined voice. It stresses their personalities even more! :D
ОтветитьMinnie Driver DOES have a beautiful voice, though there was another person singing to make it sound 'bad.' Minner Driver sings "Learn to be Lonely" at the end of the film.
ОтветитьThere are 14 insane people that watched this video.
ОтветитьOkay so i looked up the lyrics and in some of the things Firmin and Andre said... they think Christine wasn't with the phantom but sleeping with Raoul....
Ответитьif you listen to "Notes" right before this, they don't even believe in the phantom (or at least they don't want to believe in him)
ОтветитьI'm still shocked that Minnie Driver didn't actually sing in the movie.
Ответить"Learn to be Lonely" proves that her vocal range is way too low compared to her double.
