Car #2 the Thornton Colby is bugged. You have to get it before doing "I'll Fly Away" or it will despawn!

i was able to get just after the heist mission after V meets with Takemaura so literally just a few mins after Jackie's death

First car, literally not free, you have to do a high level mission..... but okay then

If you want the gorilla arm mod don’t buy it right away, go find that one side mission where Regina tells you to recover a laptop from some guy she hates. Once you finish the mission go down to the basement and you’ll find a door that leads to a ripperdoc and the ripperdoc will give you a discount on upgrades to keep the secret of the basement. Now you can get the gorilla arm from him for much cheaper as well as smart link mod

Can't get the motorcycle without doing the side mission or it says authorization not found. And you didn't mention the mission you needed.

I got the colby as soon as I could access the whole map.

the noman car is not really free if you got a pay 100 for it

You don’t need to do the riders in the storm mission
Just the main Panam mission

I just tried getting the Colby car (second free car) and it's not there. The crime scene was just no colby.. 😞

As far I'm concerned, I own all of the cars in NC. I just walk up to a car, politely ask the former owner to get out and then drive away.

I found the Caliburn for free out in the tunnel on the very long road where you have a safe house in the desert, near the top right of the map, after driving back from completing the Panam missions and first obtain the safe house. Not sure if you can get it earlier in the game or if it had to do with what missions I had done. Amazing fast car and thought it was sweet it was free

Don't feel bad for cheating beat on the brat, the difficulty increases is worse than any other quest on higher difficulty modes by a massive margin, on very Hard even with max sword skills and using a 2k or more damage sword the quest is still tough.

By the way guys- The Itsumade bike (the bike with the japanese oni skull) is only available if you do a side quest.

You can get 2 cars with the Claire quest mission, if you make Claire agree to not kill the guy, she won’t kill him; and later say that it’s the right choice, and the guy gives his Quadra Chtutlu (wrote it wrong I know) or how the hell you write it, the cool spoiler car because you save him.

The other car you can get from the racing side missions is Samson's car from the final race. For me, it's parked on the front-left, right in front of the starting line in the final race. Samson is standing next to it when he and Claire argue before the race. To get it, you need to convince Claire not to kill Samson after the Santo Domingo race and then chase Samson in the final race and convince her not to kill him in the following confrontation. After a couple weeks, he texts you and his car appears in your roster.

The film set car is there straight after lock down ends.
Note You can store heavy turret guns in car stash to transport them to othere gigs.

If you help Claire with "THE BEAST IN ME" missions but you convince her not to kill Sampson. There is a chance...(didn't happen on my first play through) Sampson will call you and he will gift you the Type 66 'CTHULU' his iconic race car, as a gift for convincing Clare to spare his life.
So yeah you get the Beast and you can get Cthulu in one go.
I go the car while waiting on the Colby car, yes I had finished the riders of the storm mission and the Panam Train robbery :(
But hey I got a free car anyway, so mixed feelings?

You can still get Sampson’s Cthulhu if you kill him so it’s not a missable vehicle, you’ll just have to pay for it when it becomes available for purchase on the market, You’ll probably have to have a certain amount of street cred too as you would when being able to purchase other cars too.

If you make Claire NOT kill the guy at the end when he crashes..ypu get her car and after a few days the guy calls you and thanks your for sparing his life and gives you, his car.
