How to Update from Joomla 4 to Joomla 5

Tried this today. I have Helix plugins and CMSJunkie JBDirectory. DO NOT update yet!!! These plugins will crash the site.

I get an error when trying to update to 4.4.0. That is: "1104 The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay". Any ideas what may be causing this?

Thanks Tim I was worried but it looks straightforward. I need my host to update MySQL then I can make the move. 😊
