SHADOUT MAPES - Grimes (Dune edit)

#10 of the collection of edits for the first album of Grimes called "Geidi Primes"

Although the song is called Shadout Mapes, I thought it more interesting to display not only who she is but what she represents. She is the first fremen the Atreides family meets, and she is part of the fremen culture as she is still in contact with the sitches and their ways. Also, Shadout Mapes came to Arrakeen because she thought the newcomers could be those of the prophecy, and as such I think she also displays strong religious beliefs.
That's why the edit I made is about her, but it's also about the fremen culture : the way they live, the expression of their religion, how they fight since it is also a big part of who they are, and the way they completely are one - unified by the spice and their community values - as well as one with the desert.
