I own the JBL Boombox 2 and i absolutely hate it.
Bass rolls off at 60% volume.
That sucks.
The highs and mids become louder, than the bass and you can't enjoy 45Hz music.

If JBL Boombox 3 is good, i will instantly buy it.
I know, EQ exists, but you MUST use an EQ for perfect bass.

Personally the only way that would make this worth the upgrade would be a way more improved frequency response, the ability to hit the lows would be it for me.The bb2 sounds amazing and the fact people are already starting to hate on it bc the bb3 is coming out, just goes to show how spoiled we are😂.The bb2 is considered the best sounding speaker since it came out (portable Bluetooth speaker ofc).

jbl confirmed with me today that the boombox 3 does NOT have 3.5 input over tech chat, so its better to buy the boombox 2 if your using it for any portable instruments or dj controllers etc. Huge letdown.
