Abstract: In this talk, we’ll explore ideas we’ve leaned on to establish an identity for the SFO Department of the Dallas Cowboys, and we’ll unpack how we are integrated into the different elements of traditional football operations. We’ll cover topics such as where we choose to operate on the continuum between theoretical and applied research, the premium we place on manifesting a mindset of humility, clear communication, and collaboration, and the critical importance of trust. These wide-ranging topics are some of the ideas we’re pouring into the foundation of what we are continuing to build in Dallas.
