why are you using the private key over the public key?
ОтветитьHello, thank you for good tutorial. My problem is I have disabled root login over ssh to my servers. Is there any workaround ?
ОтветитьThanks for sharing
ОтветитьWhere did you get the ip address from, after used the copy command?
Ответитьwelldone if you continued with the video the end, I had enough after 15 minutes. I can follow along easily but just don't have the patience when not really learning what I "signed up for".
Ответитьcan they access via winrm?
ОтветитьGreat video ! Thanks
Ответитьkeeps failing asking if im root on servers, when running the playbook
ОтветитьNotes:
The targets must have SSH for root turned on for this example to work. For Ubuntu and several other OSes you will have to change the PermitRootLogin setting for SSHD to "yes"
The ansible targets must also have Python installed.
Otherwise great tutorial. Thank you.
What is the terminal you are using?
ОтветитьAnsible seem to complicated to install and use...
ОтветитьYou didn't cover:
- where to download application
- installation of application
Is that in another video?
Great video Jay. Just curious whether you might eventually show, or at least point viewers towards resources for setting up Ansible to run against Windows hosts.
I almost had this working as a PoC at one point a few years ago. There just seems to be a general lack of good information on this.
I am mostly Linux for my own endeavors, but still have to maintain some Windows machines for my day job.
Third, tercero.
ОтветитьSecond, I suppose
ОтветитьFirst, I guess
