No butter?
ОтветитьWish I could print.
ОтветитьYou mentioned active dry yeast could be used following the same directions. I thought active dry yeast ( not instant) needed sugar?

ОтветитьI used the recipe today with a French bread pan and it was amazing. I put a casserole pan under the bread half full of water. It made the crust extra crispy and it was perfect!!! This is my new recipe; thank you!!!😊
ОтветитьGreat . Thank you.
ОтветитьOH GEEZ. NOT EVERYONE HAS A BREAD MIXER
ОтветитьI baked this yesterday and OMG it was amazing; I am baking more today to share with my friends. Thank you so much for this amazing recipe never buy the store bought again lol!

ОтветитьHello could you please tell us how to grease the French bread pan with the holes so it won’t drip in the stove.. thank you .
ОтветитьGood job
ОтветитьNo oil or butter or lard in the dough ?
ОтветитьFor the first proof,is it ok if I leave it overnight?
ОтветитьI have a 2 loaf french bread pan, and had a problem with the loaves sticking to the pan. I remedied this by lining the pan with parchment paper. I use the pan for making Cuban bread, but I might try your recipe. It looks really tasty...
ОтветитьIt looks so good Thanks a lot!
ОтветитьAmazing easy recipe and it came out perfect!

ОтветитьYou make it look so easy. Thanks
ОтветитьThis is one of the best recipes I have seen...making it right now and will get back with you on its turn out.....thanks stay at home mom as I was back in the 90’s
ОтветитьThank you for the video. It was very well done. You made everything very easy to follow, and that confidence inspiring. Which translates well into success in the kitchen.
I needed this... I don't understand why, but my grocery store bakery makes every white bread the same. It doesn't matter if It's regular white, Italian, or French. All of them taste and feel the same way.
It looks delicious.❤
ОтветитьYeast cannot activate without sugar.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI’ve made this recipe several times now! So easy! I don’t buy French bread anymore at all! Thank you!
ОтветитьI haven't tasted it but I've never seen a baguette like that in France ^^
ОтветитьWhy AP flour and not bread flour?
ОтветитьI love this recipe and have made many loaves thanks to you!
My only problem is, I can never seem to roll the dough into a rectangle! Any suggestions???
This is the perfect recipe. I come here everytime when I need to make bread
ОтветитьExcellent DIY presentation. This lady has terrific diction, expressions and clarity. Her knowledge is more than commendable...and she's a cuteness overload to boot...good job!!!
ОтветитьCam you let ot rest over night
ОтветитьIf I want to make one loaf can I keep the dough on the fridge? I don’t have any knowledge on baking
ОтветитьBread is in the oven now! Im super excited to see how these loaves turn out
ОтветитьCan this be used for pizza dough? Thanks!
ОтветитьHi Chef - could I use gluten free flour for this recipe?
ОтветитьJust bought my first KitchenAid stand mixer, and first thing I did was turn heavy whipping cream into butter and buttermilk. Gonna use the buttermilk for pancakes, but the butter, I turned into garlic butter, which is why I'm now here, learning how to make french bread, so I can make some toasted garlic bread!
I've gotta say, so far, this is proving WAY cheaper than buying premade pankake mix, and premade garlic bread loaves, plus, the home made butter? OMG, so smooth and velvety! I'll never buy store-bought butter again if I don't have to! I'm really looking forward to how this French bread recipe turns out! Dough is currently in the proofing stage.
Thank you for the clear and concise video! I've learned much!
This recipe has too much Yeast! It gave me a terrible stomach ache and loads of gas! Be aware!🤢
ОтветитьCan I leave the dough over night in the fridge and bake the next day?
ОтветитьMaking this right now
ОтветитьLooks fabulous! I am having company over tonight, making a pasta dish and hoping to made this bread for Garlic toast! I LOVE your videos! So, so good! Thank you so much for sharing and keep up the great work!

ОтветитьI made a homemade French bread pan out of a piece of metal gutter material. I just line it with parchment paper
ОтветитьLove…love…love this recipe. This is my go to recipe. Makes great French bread pizza😊. Thank you for all your great recipes ‼️
ОтветитьShort sweet to the point! Love it, thank you
ОтветитьThanks ❤❤
ОтветитьI proofed this and it doubled in size. But when rolling it out to make the loaves it had tons of gas bubbles and the rolling pin was squashing them out. Would anyone know what I did wrong? I used a stand mixer and had it on low until it was tacky and mixed. It was a little wet so I did flour a tiny bit more and hand knead on the counter for just a minute. Did I over knead? Bread deflated in the oven lol.
ОтветитьGood simple recipe. I actually let one loaf dry on the counter for about 5 days. It makes excellent herbed breadcrumbs! As good as and way cheaper than Panko.
