I will always prefer the droid armies over the stormtroopers any day, and nothing can convince me otherwise.

This song makes me think of battlefront 2. I can envision playing galactic assault on the streets of Naboo and getting stuck in the meat grinder that was the palace.

What did the cis wanted anyway? I don't remember well.

Besides the overall triumphant nature of this anthem, there's also a sense of tragedy. Especially once the strings start coming in. The CIS was doomed to fail from the start, but the droids kept marching on. I think that's why the rhythm slows down later in the song, then picks back up. Because no matter what the corrupt Republic throws at them, the droids will keep sending themselves into the fight. Millions of elite clones and thousands of Jedi warriors, yet their mechanical hearts will never break.

You know what I think made the prequels so good? They put the actual ‘war’ in ‘Star wars’ with a full blown conventional conflict.

While the Imperial era is great for building up characters, it just doesn’t have the same stakes as an actual war. I’m sick and tired of rebels running away from the enemy’s overwhelming firepower. I want another massive war for the galaxy to endure.

That’s what sets the clone wars apart from everything else. The War.
