Crochet Basics | Staggering vs Stacking Increases + Changing The Size of Your Basic Ball

I love this tutorial but I would like to know how you develop your increases for a 42 stitch circle and a 48 stitch circle?

I'm new to crochet and still learning so open to new ways if they produce a better outcome 😊

How do you keep it from rolling into a ball?? I can’t keep mine flat

As a 10 yo I want to make out of it a countryball

Is it possible to stagger starting each row with sc then inc? so for example:
mr 6
1 inc 12
2 sc inc 18
3 sc sc inc 24
4 sc sc sc inc 30
and so on

Would that work for the stagger effect?

I used the pic that you read the pattern and did the large ball and its for the fairy that yurns into a bowkay of flowers

I have watched so many of these tutorials on here and yours seems like the easiest one for me to understand! The tail trick and magic circle trick is 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼!
I do have a question though. When decreasing, are you only grabbing one front string because that's how you increased to get that "bubble" look or are you always supposed to only grab the front loop when decreasing even if you made the circle grabbing the whole "v" aka both strings? I hope that makes sense lol!

What is the size of the largest ball

Hey can someone help me out? Whenever I try to crochet a ball even if I follow every step, my ball is really small, even thought I followed the medium steps it look smaller than the small size. Does anyone know why and how I can fix it? Please help.

I need help in making a larger ball can’t seem to figure out what my increase would be after row 7 42 stitches isn’t enough I’m using Mercerized Cotton so my ball is very small with 42 stitches. Thank you
