I plan on try playing as a Druid, Halsin, Jahira, and blonde Shadowheart to recreate Goldilocks and the three bears.
Ответитьas a male player, all the male companions kinda creeps me out. I am just being nice dude...😂😂. I dont mind astarion as much because its clear that he sways that way but wyll, gale, halsin and the godamn emperor mann..
ОтветитьGale only takes like 3 magic items and then you can continue his personal quest, it isn’t all throughout the game
ОтветитьBruh i played Jahira and i loved her. Way more than halsin. She like experienced mentor. You just didn't give her a chance
ОтветитьI know you're focusing on beginners and thank you for clarifying that in the beginning of the vid, this time.
I do notice though that a lot of your advice is based on the class of the companion. I got three things to say on that:
1 - Perhaps you should then add which subclass makes it easiest for new players. For example: Gale as evocation specialist for the easy AOE without party damage or as abjurer for a lot more hp?
2 - In my opinion 5th edition does very little for classes after level 5 or 6 or so, depending on the class. All classes are very front loaded. Even beginners should consider taking a second class for their characters, splitting up in 6/6 or 5/5/2.
Ranger for example is actually really good for the first 5 levels.
- heaps of skills
- heavy armour if you want it
- spells, and spontaneous casting makes a low wisdom no problem (depending on the spells)
3 - I'm really happy you're adding some story info. I'll definitely try to combine Will and Karlach in my first playthrough ❤
I think this is the best place to put on a comment, since it's companion related. Thanks for offering to help recruiting Minthara! Awesome content, keep it up, man! 😎
ОтветитьI have the dog in my camp but cannot summon him, why?
ОтветитьMake Astarion a bard and you have your support caster and lock picker trap finder skill monkey.
ОтветитьLoving the tips... Some of the stuff u kind of figure out but this video is super helpful for anyone who wants to dive right into a specific play style without having to spend time and learn through trial and error. Keep it up bro. Appreciate it.
ОтветитьAstarion is cool, but I make him other classes. Rogues are barely needed.
ОтветитьGreat guide!! Good to know because I am doing a challenge run where I'm trying yo get the dark urge, tactician mode and 12 class multiclass achievement at the same time so I'm going to be leaning on my companions a lot LOL.
ОтветитьI turned my Astarion into a bard because I wanted another haster, problem with a tier list is you can change ANYONE'S class so just use who you like. GALE is bad imo cause he will try to romance you with you not trying at all he's really annoying to me for that reason.
ОтветитьNothing really matters except the story of the companions as you are free to completely change them as you see fit.
ОтветитьI see so many s tier and my first thought is "yea that makes sense they really made so many amazing characters".
ОтветитьThis tier list would have made more sense if you placed them based on their personalities since you can respec all of them to however you want for playstyle. Gale is b cause he is a glass Canon? Maybe for you but many are playing him as a tank.
ОтветитьScratch is best boy. As a beast master ranger I had him with me for the whole game and he was pretty helpful during combat.
ОтветитьImho, Jaheira is a A-B companiaon. She described and "charactered" much better than halsin. I feel like Halsin just forced into your camp and don't have interesting story at all, so i think he is C tier max. (and both of them are druids).
ОтветитьI must confess unless it's a specific quest that needs a specific character or a particular difficult fight I choose my team by bantering drama/comedy/burns 😂😂😂
ОтветитьWhat about Hope, Orpheus, MF Orpheus, Shovel, Glut …
