After sharing that the trends change everyday, how do we find out what the trends are? Thank you for the video btw!
ОтветитьThank you for this fantastic advice. I’m looking into going to nail tech classes when the economy dies down but I need to practice the craft before then so as soon as I’m done with getting a certificate I can hit the ground running.
ОтветитьYou're very professional and you explain everything perfectly without wasting time or energy. Great videos thank you!!
ОтветитьThank you for taking the time to let us know how things work in this industry and also how it will affect us in the long run. I feel like you actually ate trying to help us succeed whereas most people try to compete and do not really want to see someone else do great!
ОтветитьHi my its Patricia i need your help i start doing nails 2019 but I don't have clients the way I want. my business is in my house please help me advise i am so emotional 😭
ОтветитьPractice is vv important
ОтветитьSo I been trying to find a video about logo copyright because I want my buisness to have designer brands but I read about copyright logos But see a lot people do it… supposedly you can do if you don’t sell if it’s for inspired reasons or for yourself can you please make a video about that
ОтветитьI've been practicing for 9 months
ОтветитьHow to practice
ОтветитьDo You Have A TikTok?
I'm 17 and Want To Become A Nail Tech and U]You Really Really Inspire Me😊
Love this
Ответитьwhat nail school did you attend?
ОтветитьI am looking into maybe going to school for doing nails but need a 4 to 5 day work week with a certain schedule are there nail salons who will work with you ??
Ответитьim 11 and my dream is too become a nail tech and yeah
Ответитьlove your lipstick
ОтветитьMy body hurts so much while doing one person nail I wanna give up sometimes 🥵 ty for the tip
ОтветитьWait how do you fire clients
ОтветитьThank you!
Ответитьi’m getting my ged and i plan on graduating early to go to college for my technician license
ОтветитьTy
Ответитьpractice is key! i wish i knew that when i started. i came outta school and fucked up a lot of peoples nails and charged them for it. I was lucky
ОтветитьHello. New follower. Quick question.. what acrylic do you recommend for beginners ?
ОтветитьI never once assume u don't need practice... This looks tough
ОтветитьI was a nail tech 30 years ago. Got burned out after about 6 years and stopped. I didn't renew my license because I didn't think I wanted to ever do it again. HUGE MISTAKE. Even if you don't use it and take a break keep it current, don't let it expire. If I wanted to go back to doing nails again I would have to completely redo the whole school (I'd love to but... pass)
ОтветитьSince back and shoulder pain is such a hazard with the profession, are there nail chair/table set ups that would make it less stressful on the body? I'm thinking that having the client in a higher position with their hands in a downward position might make it less stressful on the body. I would be interested in hearing any comments on the best chair/table positions.
ОтветитьSo... we literally almost have the SAME tattoo but in opposite shoulders..
ОтветитьDid you go to college to do this? And how much do you get paid a month doing that ???
ОтветитьThanks for the advice I'm 14 and about to start working and this is what I'm doing!💝
ОтветитьNew to this and need to know why do a lot of nail tech's say "I fired my client"?? You are providing the service they paid for, you are giving them the service they hired you for? Can someone please explain? (Seriously)
ОтветитьFor #3 (The Pain), I Use A Heating Pad In The Back Of My Chair While I’m Working 😊
ОтветитьLike any career we have to learn to take care of ourselves so You’re right about getting massages, ice your hands daily, stretches etc…in order to keep going . In response to investing in good products…. I definitely attest to that! Good products allows your brand to either be regular or luxury. It determines the type of clientelle you desire. I’ve been doing nails and facials for 20. Years plus on Miami Beach and I made it a point to only work in spas located in high end hotels hence the type of demographic I cater. I now own and run a mobile home spa service keeping that same level of service which includes buying great products in order to keep those types of clients. And to the young lady that was working 6 days and long hours, you don’t need to. Find a high end spa. Marriott owns several hotels and they are always hiring. They own the W hotels, Ritz Carltons and more. I taught at a beauty school and trained at high end hotels and I m here to tell you all being a nail tech or anything in the beauty field opens several doors and you don’t need to kill yourself physically. Hope this helped and Vee you are awesome and talented!!!!! Keep up the great work
ОтветитьLove this video Vee very helpful
ОтветитьI thank you so much for sharing soo much with us.
ОтветитьI appreciate you for taking the time out to let us know this ! I am a beginner nail tech 9 months in & love it but I needed this information (a mom of 3) my back is so bad ! I can’t wait to be as good as you . Your so awesome ! I love your vibe🥰 your so humble & have so much knowledge in this nail industry & I cannot wait till i can get clients
ОтветитьGreat info!! Thank you!
Also, I was wondering if you had a video that shows how you're dipping into the powder in the monomer?🙄😁
I love your lamp!! Do you know where I can find one just like it
ОтветитьMam can I inhale daily 1 hr nail polish ...I love nail polishes..i used to sniff them ..I want to inhale opi china glaze Orly and Essie nail polishes but these are super expensive nail polishes..which I can't afford ..I can only Inhale 70 to 90 rs.nail polish ..idk whether they are chemical free or not ..I just wanna Inhale them
ОтветитьCan you go over pricing?
ОтветитьI wanna hear all the tea about that client that wouldn't be fired.
ОтветитьI just started. Your so right about miserable people..
ОтветитьHey... love your videos.... Can you tell me where you got your wall-mount for your acrylics? My collection is getting big enough to get one and I LOVE, LOVE, your choice in wall-mount and product choices. I see a lot of NOTPOLISH in your collection. Another good one is Ugly Duckling (from Canada). Have you ever used them before? Please let me know whenever you get a free minute.... Thanks, in advance, for any help that you can give me.
Ответить1. I love your tattoo and couldn't stop focusing on it throughout the video. Your top is also super cute.
2. This should probably be an obvious answer, but if the plan is to open your own nail place after getting your license, is it OK to not want to do certain things like acrylics? There are things in the requirements for being able to take the test in my state that I currently foresee myself not wanting to do. I may change my mind once I've actually done them in courses, but right now they are a big no for me.
I want to improve my skills & be a freelance nail artist but I don't want to have to deal with rude/disrespectful/dangerous ppl. One of the reasons I want to quit my job now, is not because I'm not great @ it or that the work once mastered is too much but because ppl can be generally horrible to ppl in customer service. And I felt I was getting paid to be abused rather than working. I'm hoping my skills can become good enough to only accept certain clientele. "Sigh". Thank you for your advice!! We're gonna try!
Ответитьwhat’s a glue you recommend ?
Ответитьokay, i PROMISE i was listening...but your eyebrows had me soooo distracted. they're PERFECT 😩😍😍😍
ОтветитьEven being in my 20s I have wrist pain and back pain especially doing a pedicure
ОтветитьHey how are you I love your work😍What’s some tips on getting your clientele up?
ОтветитьTake care girl 😘
ОтветитьRead the title and couldn't stop laughing cause all I could think was "what that it hurts to wipe your ass with nails that long ?" Hahahaha but then I wouldn't know because Im a working woman who keeps her nails at a decent length so they don't break after a week.
ОтветитьI’m just starting out with my nail tech journey and it’s fun af 🤗🥰✊🏽
And YAAASSS, thank you for mentioning stretching and massages for a nail tech neck, shoulder and back pain. There’s a bunch of neck, shoulders and upper back stretches and exercises that help with the pain of doing this kind of intense concentration positions that our body gets in bcuz we’re trying desperately not to screw up….I paint miniatures for tabletop games like DND , BattleTech, Star Wars etc. same problem with neck and hunched back and rolled shoulders posture while doing stuff like this.
