So like right off the bat you're already wrong. The U.S. Credit system does actually affect more than just "financial trust". Some jobs require a certain credit score to attain (and more and more jobs are requiring credit scores). Also, landlords require credit scores. Good luck renting an apartment in the U.S. (which is your only option at this point thanks to the insane housing market). China's social credit system isn't good, but to pretend like the U.S. credit system isn't nearly as bad is laughable. Both systems need to go. Fuck any kind of credit system.

China as a whole does not have a social credit system, sure a few cities have their own local credit system, but it’s not a common thing.
