Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G Review | Seriously, best mid-range smartphone?

It's a great phone. Better than A53 and A54, especially if you can get the 8GB RAM version.

My wife have this phone for 2 years now, it's still going strong except for the back cover which was already separated from the frame despite always wearing a case. No big deal though, as the phone will always use a case and no intention to dunk it into water.

Overall as someone who are paying for all the phones in the family, I'm happy to report that I won't need to buy my wife a new phone any time soon.

i have the s23u and i have this as my backuo phone for editing vids and audios.. and this phone is such a wonder... the fact that it has sd card ang 3.5m jack... it's just amazing for multitasking!

Got this phone right after it came out and it still works flawlessly. Best bang for the buck.

I have owned this phone for a little over a year and I am very happy with it. Good performance and good camera.

One thing shame it have 3.5mm ear phone jack but cant use FM Radio due to missing Antena module

It's still a good phone in 2023 summer.

Hdp jack, sd card slot, proper battery, nice software are what caught me.

Previously used GalaxyS 7,8,9 It's a shame that nowadays "flagships" are butchered of functionalities and over expensive.

Not only did I remove bixby and all of its programs from it via uad, but many other stuff that I don't want or need on my phone. Stuff that are preinstalled and unnecessary like "essential apps".
What did I get?
Seriously flagship speed and performance, as well as a better battery life.
This phone is a hidden jam without a doubt.

Between this Samsung and the Oppo Reno 8 Pro WICH should i choose for photography and videography?

Great review man. I've come up from A20 to this phone. Credit to Samsung this is a great phone for the money. The battery is incredible last 2 days!! I had to charge my old phone by midday. Camera good, quick response from apps etc. 👌

I own this phone 1 year 3 months , the newest update to one ui 5.1 is perfect , phone is much smoother. Only the battery life droped from 2 days to 1 day normal using . Is not worth update to 53 or 54 , a52s have still better snapdragon .

I couldn't justify paying £400 for this phone. Luckily, I found a barely used model in mint condition in a pawn shop for £149 and I am very happy with the value I got for my money :)

To be honest, I've had mine for nearly a year. Updates are good but the camera is rubbish. It either makes people look like dwarves or have legs twice the size of their body. Made all the wedding photos I took look ridiculous. If you want a decent camera....go somewhere else.

This is my first smart phone ever. I bought it to replace a plain cell phone and the landline. It is very good in every way, and seems to be better than my friend's Galaxy A32 in several ways.

The camera is on the screen, which i really dont like for watching video's. Becuase youll have a big dot interrupting the screen lol.

Love mine, my dad went and got a A53, I couldn't believe he didn't do his research, the A52s 5g is an absolute beast.
I got mine for £250 in a Very sale in the summer !!!!

Went from an s9+ to this phone as my workphone, and wow this is a great phone for the money. It feels so much faster and smooth with the 120hz screen. And the battery life is way better. I have an s21 ultra as my personal phone, but now I just use the dual sim in this a52s. The s21 ultra is great but it's a bit to big and heavy, so I'm going to sell it. I've realized I have no need for flagship phones

Would you recommend second hand A52s 5G for 150e?

Hello, so I've been undecided on which phone to buy between the Samsung Galaxy a52s 5G and the Samsung Galaxy a53 5G. So I've been looking at the numbers and I've been seeing that the Samsung Galaxy a53 receives more software updates as compared to the Samsung Galaxy a52s. The a53 is getting 4 years of software updates up to Android 16 as compared to the a52s which is getting up to Android 14. But the a52s has the stronger Snapdragon 778g chipset which is capable of doing so much more than the a53 can do which is obviously powered by an exynos chipset. So please if you could help me because I need to buy the phone by December which phone would you advise me to buy between the Samsung Galaxy a53 and the Samsung Galaxy a52s 5g.

I'm here in 2022 and still think this is the best midrange android phone. The A73 has no headphone jack.

It's a horrible phone purely for the fact that it keeps displaying moisture in charging port. Samsung will not repair it due to a hairline crack in the top right corner of the phone
