Add Background Music and Intro or Outro with the Riverside Editor!

This would be great if those options were present in our editor. Whenever I add music, regardless of playhead position, it adds it to the end of the existing track and doesn't allow any additional music tracks.

When is this feature being released to Pro plan customers?

I do NOT get the volume and effects option when I tap the 3 dots on background music! It's driving me mad! How the heck do I lower the volume of the background track and put fade in and out on it! Please help ASAP!

Just tried it several times. Not working consistently. Reached out to support and been waiting a while.

It just feels dump that we can’t edit episodes in Spotify for podcasters anymore because it was easy and fun when you just select their stock background sound and it automatically tunes to the length of your episode and also the volume goes up and down automatically during silences and conversations but in the riverside editor you just feel like you’re now relearning everything you knew. Sincerely, no one likes such an experience since it started

when Spotify let you search their library and add the music it was great and it actually helped my listeners discover new music

Can someone point me in the right direction if I want to add music to my intro to an audio only podcast? I can’t seem to get a clear answer anywhere. Thanks!

Honestly i do not like the new Spotify podcast feature with no stock music and editing 😢😢

I guess there is no current way to duck the music. For example, I have my host intro the show as a promo with music under it, which then goes to an opener where I need to raise the music, and then the show starts, and I fade it out.
