I cannot walk unsupported. There would be no electric power to recharge my wheelchair. Additionally, I cannot survive without my antidepressant medication. It is interesting to think that maybe I would try to survive a situation like this, but I have thought in great detail about being a prepper, and I do not think I would try hard enough. Perhaps I would barter my various fields of knowledge, including military science, in exchange for help and support.

For gashes you'll need EMLA topical ointment (5% Lidocaine) apply to the skin around the wound especially on the edges of the skin to the wound; wrap in bandage for like half an hour then take off bandage. You'll then need a 3/0 suture, monofilament is best if no antibiotics available. Stitch the wound back up doing figure of eight knots. Then apply some germolene and reapply the bandage. Massively reduces infection chance and not too hard to do for the average person.
