Where did you get the rubber fittings?
Ответитьdefinitely add a cyclonic dust collector.
ОтветитьWith the room underneath you could probably get a shorter cyclone separator. I used to use just a shop vac but it wore out relatively fast due to all the sawdust along with larger pieces. I know use a cyclone seperator, 5gal bucket, and shop vac that i put in my attic of my garge. Because it doesnt have to be emptied often with that setup, its great. I just set it up, cut a hole thru the ceiling to drop my hose thru, and put a wifi plug up there to turn it on/off with Google. "Hey Google, turn on my vacuum". And away we go.
Since using a seperator, i am so glad i added it.
Did you notice any drop in suction power after hooking up to 2" pvc pipe
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. Subscribed!
ОтветитьYou don't have to gule PVC pieces together in a setting like yours.
ОтветитьHow do I find the different sizes for hose @ equipment
ОтветитьCouldn't a pillow case, plastic milk jug or some other common item be secured to the circular saw tube attachment to collect dust blown out?
ОтветитьExcellent set up. I don’t understand the connection to the tools with the hoses though.
ОтветитьYou use a 4 inch gate? What size is your hose? How did you get from the shop vac and PVC, + or - 2 inches up to a 4" hose? Wouldn't you maintain better suction with a 2" hose?
ОтветитьCool video. I love the PVC piping. Can you link where to buy that useful on and off switch?
ОтветитьNo separator?
ОтветитьGood content. 2 the point, thx
Ответитьnice work but avoid the 90's and go with 45's instead.
Ответитьgoing to try this system...
ОтветитьCool setup. I'm looking to do something similar. What size "Y" pipe is the first pipe that the cutoff hose is attached to? Thanks
ОтветитьGood video, FYI the Shop vac link and the hose link are the same link inserted above. Thanks for posting.
ОтветитьHow many peak hp is your vacuum?
ОтветитьSimple. Thank you very much!
Ответитьgreat plan–this is about the right level of system i'm thinking of working into my mini-shop.
ОтветитьGreat video! I was wondering where you got the couplings. I was looking for some on Amazon, but they're something like 10 dollars each, which seems excessive given that I'll need a few.
Also, minor critique of the system; the Y split would be more efficient if it was oriented like the letter Y. The idea is to avoid the air needing to go around tight corners. Practically it probably doesn't matter much though, especially since you're not using the left split anyways (which would be the inefficient direction).
Great Video! Where can I get the ON OFF Switch from?
ОтветитьHow about where you got the rubber pieces, sizes and PVC pipe size, please! Thanks looks good! Maybe lay it out on floor and enter what sizes and where you got them! Thanks
ОтветитьDo you have any plans on how you set up and built your bench system
ОтветитьWhat size blast gauge do you have your link goes to for it but did you find 2-inch ones as well
ОтветитьInteresting setup. Thanks!
Please tell us something about that radial arm saw above the shop vac.
What about your filter? Does it get clogged up quick?
ОтветитьCan the music, Sean. It’s very distracting from your otherwise useful content.
ОтветитьI enjoy your videos and wanted to say thank you.
I'm interested in your radial arm saw set up. I like how you have it incorporated into your bench.
Nice setup - but why dont you have a cyclone separator?
ОтветитьReally cool system you set up. As an IT guy- I am most impressed by your cable management.
