Right now!???
Ответитьgetting a gun lecture from an ai pos that has no idea what he's talking about. a 3'5 in. shell with bird load does not kick very hard.
he says .22lr as if he has no idea what lr even stands for.
says, surplus weapon, as it's a specific firearm. a random surplus weapon can be a total pos.
May I suggest instead of a surplus gun getting one of the many pistol caliber carbines out now. chambered in the same caliber as your carry pistol. I have a hi point 9mm as my truck gun. Well because its pretty reliable and at the price point its not such a big deal if it gets stolen
ОтветитьI just don't like that magazine on that shotgun for several reasons
ОтветитьToo many generalizations on that list.
1. I agree with a pump shotgun. However, I would take a 20 just as fast as a 12. The shot leaves the barrel just as fast in either gun, the 12 has a larger payload.
2. Woods handgun. Good pick and a 4" 357Mag or Glock 20 would make a good concealed carry pick, too. I'd add 44 Mag, 40S&W, & even 45ACP to the list. With full metal jackets, they'll penetrate deep and stop a wolf, black bear, etc. In brown bear country, I'd lean more towards 10mm or 44 Mag.
3. An AR15 is not a need. I own them, but if limited to just one rifle, I'd keep my scoped A-bolt I've hunted with since 1985. If you're prepping for war, that's one thing, but if you hunt I like a little bigger than 223/556 for big game. It can work, but it's not my first choice. I want something in 308 Win - 300 Win Mag. A nice bolt can hunt in any state, that allows bottleneck cartridges. So, if my bolt isn't allowed, neither is the AR15.
4. Nothing wrong with a 22LR. I'd accept other rimfires like 17HMR or 22Mag.
5. 9mm??? Not needed. If you want pocket carry, get a 38spec. J-frame or SP101. Then you can use the same ammo as your 357.
- As to surplus, choose wisely. I remember a lot of "surplus" rifles hit the gun shops in the 1980s where the rifle was cheap, but 3 boxes of ammo cost the same as the rifle. If the inexpensive rifle is an SKS or AK, 7.62x39 is a very good deer-sized game round.

ОтветитьBooo on the thumbnail clickbait. Later.
Ответитьsurplus weapon? LOL right...
ОтветитьWhat about a machine gun.
ОтветитьHe’s hilarious. Surplus guns aren’t up to par with firepower. Almost all WW2 rifles will do significantly more damage than most modern rifles
ОтветитьMama he has got a big gun, boy his enemies are going to catch him shopping 🛍️ for chicken 🍗
Ответитьis it me or is every video been repeated of the same content?
Ответитьcool pic at the beginning but this vid.. it just sux
Ответитьai generated thumbnail and ai narrator
ОтветитьSo much leftist babble coming out of the AI mouth! Telling me what "all I'll ever need" is not up to you! Did Joe Biden produce this cause the shotgun isn't all I'll ever need for home defense. Showing an M1A in the Surplus Firearms section and saying it's out of date and cheap. That's funny stuff right there.
ОтветитьLast time I checked, the M1A /M14 was not a low cost surplus option.
ОтветитьWhy would anyone kill a sand hill crane? Pease don't do that. Kill things you eat, and that has sport. One can walk to within 3 feet of a sand hill crane without spooking it.
ОтветитьWhat in the Clickbait Bulls**t is this!? "5 Home Defense Guns You . . . " blah blah blah . . . then you go into target shooting, and bird hunting, and bring up .22LR, and CCW/subcompact 9mm? And I'm guessing the gun in the thumbnail is either AI created, or some video game wet dream, since you don't even mention it anywhere in the video.
ОтветитьThumbnail photo.== Sulun 211. Ovr/Und. Canada distr. Turkey made.
ОтветитьYep. Just click bait This channel, waste of time.
ОтветитьShould have mentioned that Arturo Fuente stick. If you’re gonna smoke, may as well smoke the best
ОтветитьCanik tp-9 and shotgun my favorite😎
ОтветитьWhat is the short barrel & stock gun in still photo at beginning of your video ?
ОтветитьWhat is in the thumbnail?
Ответить"most of them are out of date when it comes to firepower" bruh really
they invented intermediates such as 5.56 because the ww2 era rifles worldwide were too powerful, not to mention muh two world wars .45 acp
and everything in 9mm is almost guaranteed to be automatic smg
Surplus guns cheap?????? WHERE???? M1 carbines that could be had for $50 40 or 50 years ago are now over a grand. SKSs that could be had for $100-$150 30 years ago are going for $1500
ОтветитьLooks like I need to get a 10-22!
ОтветитьClick bait warning.
ОтветитьOK,give me a link to the gun pictured in the thumbnail.
ОтветитьYOU WON'T FIND A "CHEAP" M1A1 !
Ответитьbut shot guns for home defense, wont you end up blowing half your wall down if you shoot and hit everything else behind the wall
ОтветитьHunting suv's, sounds like a fun pastime?.. (better n fish in a barrel, turkey-shoot type action?).
ОтветитьClickbaiter gets blacklisted. FU
ОтветитьThis is just another AI produced clickbait garbage channel which is compiled of snippets of other people's content and computer generated narration. These things have been popping up like toadstools.
ОтветитьI'm buying 2 of each!
ОтветитьDo you have any idea why Marlin stopped making the .22 LeverMatic? The action was a quarter throw. That was a wonderful gun to use for hunting and target shooting. I believe that it accepted Long Rifle, Long and Short rounds. When I was 14, in 1960, the one I used was my older brothers. That was one thing he always shared with me. His was clip fed, 7 round capacity. I believe that there was a 12 round clip available. To me, the tubular feed was a work of beauty. My gun was a Ruger Single Six (.22). In our later years, he gave me his breech loading Remington 12 gauge goose gun (36 inch barrel). After he showed it to me, he couldn't get it back in his gun case and said, 'It's yours now". When my son was 8, he gave him his bolt action, single shot Mossberg 20 gauge.
I have "Drilling", by Norbert Klups (Schiffer, 2007), originally published in German, as "Der Drilling, Geschichte, Einsatz und Technik einer jagdlichen Universalwaffe", by Motorbuch Verlag. A drilling is a three barrel gun. I believe that they have also produced, for actual use, 5 and 6 barrel guns.
In high school, there was a rifle range in the basement, so I naturally joined the Rifle Club. At that time, I asked the NRA, "When should I use a gun in my home". They said "When you are willing to go to jail for murder". And that has made perfect sense to me, for the rest of my life.
Thank you for taking me down memory lane. In reference to the data above, my aged memory may be faulty, and I have had several strokes (i.e., lots of dead brain cells).
May you and yours stay well and prosper.
I like this channel BUT I hate "Click Bait" ! I watched the video ( would have anyway ) and was SEVERLLY DISAPOINTED that the Gun on the screen is not in the video. Does anyone know what it is ?
ОтветитьBest single home defense weapon is the pump 12 guage. pistol grip with laser. Recoil is almost unnoticeable with a pistol grip but aiming is harder. Enter the laser.
ОтветитьExcept for compact Handgun he went down my list perfectly.
ОтветитьIt depends on what you are comfortable with and what you can afford. The top five could be 'whatever'. It is just a opinion.
ОтветитьJust a thought. Isn’t it better to be less lethal for home defence? Do u need to consider what if u kill burglars. You might be in legal trouble trouble, property value depreciate.
ОтветитьWhat is that model on
preview image?
Ha. While discussing "affordable' surplus weapon they showed the decidedly "NOT AFFORDABLE" M-14. ($2000 plus dollars for a good one) .While they are excellent .308 rifles they are not really suited for home defense CQB. They are more suited for medium and long range combat and or hunting. A good 9mm auto or if your a novice shooter a solid revolver is all that's needed. It will , however, always be the case that it is better to put yourself through a great deal more training than just learning to load and shoot. A solid handgun combat training program should be required with a yearly refresher course in addition to range target shooting on at least a quarterly basis. Knowing when to shoot, how to shoot and having all of that worked out prior to a high pressure defensive event is job one and what EVERY responsible gun owner does. I had extensive combat training in the military and still go to the range every month and burn through about 50 rounds. It's like shooting pool. If you don't do it regularly you get rusty. It's a perishable skill.
ОтветитьWhat got my attention was the firearm pictured for the video. Was hoping to find out what it was in the video but it was not talked about. I looked about trying to find out what this firearm is without any luck and was hoping you could tell me what it is.. Thank you in advance.....
ОтветитьClick bait, no mention of what is in the thumb nail
Ответитьfake thumbnail clickbait = crap channel
Ответить3 good guns are all you need . IMO of course. Unless you're fighting a war by yourself? 🇺🇲
ОтветитьSandhill Crane? What for?
ОтветитьI stick with my semi auto 12 gauge bullpups. About the same length as a shockwave but can be shoulder/aim fired.
