I generally don't like the song tasks. But this one was a banger. I genuinely enjoyed John's ditty, but Fern's is the one I want to add to my play list.

...and I think Dara deserved more than 2 points.

Everyone should have got 5 points for this, they all nailed it.

I live in Prague and yes, we defenestrate a lot.

"Me Fern Brady me Fern Brady" randomly gets stuck in my head every couple of months since this aired.

This is the only season of taskmaster I have not watched because I cannot stand Dara and Sarah. I made the right decision not to watch after just seeing this bit.

These were all so good, I wouldn't know where to begin trying to rank them.

This task is brilliant!! Knowing all those tunes makes the absurd lyrics even better 😂😂 John's might just be my favorite

How often do they include extra footage (like I think they did here of the contestants going through the music choices— that wasn't in the released edit of the episode, right? actually, the “too british” bit is seeming familiar now, so it must just be a memory failure and there was no extra footage here?) in these concentrated videos? I used to think they would include such, being given the opportunity to separate the task out into its own expanded standalone video, and bookmarked a bunch of them to watch but then I tried one and it didn't 😢. (I misinterpreted the “full” in “full task”)

“Defenestration” has been my favourite word for 15 years since secondary school and I can’t tell you how validating it was to hear Dara use it.

My ex partner always said I shouldn’t smile and show my teeth because it made me look too feminine, and to this day I still am self conscious, so Sarah’s touched me when she spoke about what her ex told her. Feck you, ex partner.

"Wheel Up Again" Three Words that have never before been uttered to little Alex Horne.

The most heartwarming moment in the entire show is Greg dropping his guard and showing legit concern for Sarah, and then snapping back in the same breath with "F*ck you ex-partner."

i was expecting these to be horrible and embarrassing (like a lot of taskmaster), but every one of them showed such talent in writing their songs in an incredibly short time, and they were all fantastically performed! after hearing john's first i actually said 'oh s**t' assuming noone was going to out do that.

when scoring, as he said he wasnt going to give anyone a 1, i was expecting him to say he wasnt giving anyone a two either!

also F**k you ex-partner! and anyone else that says something like that to anyone whatsoever!

Greg got caught up in Sarahs story. But Fern ABSOLUTELY deserved the 5 points.
