defeated him just few days ago, hands down the best boss fight aia ever fought even tho he is the hardest he is way more fair than the rest ( looking at you Elden beast )

Anyone else notice that he doesn't generate lightning from his sword for his attack? Nah he jumps up into the air and catches it on blade to throw at you.

The fact that Isshin is regular skilled worrior noting godly in him and still he is the best make me admire this man

I’m still trying after 3 FULL days. It’s almost 4am so I guess I’m into day 4. I can consistently get to phase 3 but rarely do I reach phase 4 with any health. I deleted Sekiro twice with the Shura ending but eventually got it after 5 days? Don’t exactly remember. This bastard boss is a whole different beast. Oh, well. Back to it. Just needed inspiration

The only person who can actually equal to isshins power is gaurdian ape (we all know how dumb that boss is) and demon of hatred

Edit: and the fact the guardian ape didn’t get laid before sekiro came. The true meaning of blue balls. Planning to get married and die to a mere mortal.. smh

In case anybody is curious, this is a really awkward way to defeat this boss fight. I’ve replayed it a bunch of times, and I usually beat it around 5 minutes. Still, I think this is one of, if not the best boss fight of all time.

I would not be surprised if the entire combat system was made for this single fight.

One of my favorite details about this fight is that not once does Isshin use the Mortal Blade's flames, he wants to fight and win based on pure skill and technique.

The spear, gun, and lightning, he'll use everything but the sword that kills immortals. And in a way, he shows his respect to Sekiro in this way. Sekiro doesn't openly use the Mortal Blade, so neither will Isshin, he will simply use it as a sword, and nothing more.

Until you fight Inner Isshin...

I actually found isshin to be easier then the demon of hatred, the second hardest I’ve fought so far with the demon of hatred being first, Isshin second, Mohg third and malenia 4th but I will be playing elden ring with no summons on this second play through so that might change

Anybody who has the balls to fight Isshin on the cliff for that long is a maniac😂

Most useful item for me in this fight is hidden tooth. Combine it with bundled jizos and you have plenty of chances without exhausting healing items
