Thank you for your videos, always very education. however , I have an issue. I am using VMWARE Fusion and have successfully installed kali linux. However, I encounter issues while trying to install TOR browser inside Kali. The error message I get is that "TOR browser requires a CPU with SSE2 support" . I am using a MacBook Air M1 chip 2020: 8GB Ram and 256ssd. Are there any walkarounds you can share, or any advise on how to run the TOR browser in my MacOS?

In your opinion, which virtualization software would YOU prefer for mac? I Understand you are not a paid or working associate of any of these companies but you have tried them all on MAC silicon.

Another super-useful video - thanks. I knew of UTM and use it - was unaware that VMWare is free for personal use so will give it a go too!

I got a M2 pro today. Tried UTM today and i was surprised to see x86_x64 showing up as an option where thr ssme screen in your video lacks it. There is also a checkbox if to use rosetta for thr x64 emulation. I still have to try it... I had downloaded an aarch fedora iso because i was following the suggestions in your video that it wasnt an option for "virtualize". It seems drastically updated since 2 months ago

OrbStack to the rescue. I need x64 virtual machines to test software and deployments in our company. and I have unfortunately an M2 laptop. We don't use arm64 servers, so virtualization using Arm64 is not an option for now. (Not sure even is servers will easily be migrated to arm in the near future) 99% of the servers and software outside use or are compiled to x64 arch. OrbStack is an excellent software to quickly deploy containers and VMs supporting x64 arch and the best: performance is impressive...

Can anyone advise if you can run multiple vm's on one M2 Mac studio each with a dedicated line? Would it be possible to run 20 VM's at the same time? Thanks.

I've successfully installed various Linux distros on a Mac mini M2 Pro using both Parallels and UTM. They all installed fine except for one thing. I can find no way to specify that I'm using a Mac keyboard so the mapping is all wrong. It's a particular problem when using Terminal. Any suggestions?
