PUBG Mobile Beyond A.C.E. Update, Global Championship Season Zero Announced

PUBG Corp. has announced a new update for PUBG Mobile, titled Beyond A.C.E version 1.0. The update will be releasing on September 8.

Beyond A.C.E. 1.0 will introduce enhanced graphics in the game. Particles, smoke, air blasts, muzzle flashes, and scope interaction will look even more realistic. Along with these, the game’s UI will be completely overhauled and its visuals, motion, sounds, and navigation will be improved. The interface has also been tweaked to make it easier on the eyes. The new update will also offer reduced lag and higher FPS on middle and low-end smartphones. PUBG Corp. has also teased a “mysterious surprise,” which will be a part of the update.



Along with these, PUBG Corp. has also announced PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC), which merges PUBG Mobile World League and World Championship. The Season Zero of PMGC will begin in late November and best pro teams from all regions including Americas, Europe, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East, and China can participate. The prize pool for the tournament is $2 million. Onsite audience may not be present at the tournament due to the pandemic. However, the tournament will be taking place across multiple studios.


James Yang, the Director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports said, “Following the success of PUBG MOBILE World League Season Zero, we knew we had to come up with an idea that would raise the bar even higher and create something truly extraordinary to close out the first year of our new esports program.”

During a press event, Yang has said that there will be a major announcement during the grand finals of PMGC. Yang also explained that the pandemic has made the process of planning and execution of the PMGC quite challenging, but PUBG’s esports team is prepared for these challenges.
