I hate every montage and scene from any film that assumes the audience can relate to NYC. Like most of Scorsese and Allen. I have never been to New York and don't intend to and those like me outnumber you.

wheh you have the balls to title a video "...of all time" you should probably use all time instead of heavily biaseed toward the last 40-50 years. You mention Eisenstein but only briefly. You should look into Murnau, Keaton, Chaplin, and others from the silent era. They relied on montages in those days to say what they couldn't say.

Despite his in-video denial the narrator IS a total snob ..The way he rushes trough the video at breakneck speed just to cram in as much useless references as possible is mind numbing to watch. In his strive for maximum humble brag he forgot to make a piece of content you can actually enjoy without having a heart attack or an epileptic seizure. Very uncomfortable to watch, its like listening to a performance of someone who takes himself as the measure of things.
