Ответитьi need your help, i duplicate a proyect, but now i cant find the original....what shoud i do? thank you! sos please
Ответитьobrigado 🙌
ОтветитьI have a Macbook to edit, so there is no "right click". Confused... so how do you duplicate the project?
ОтветитьAfter three minutes and you still hadn't gotten around to telling or showing how to duplicate a project, buh-bye.
ОтветитьThank you... And, to add to this, I just learned if you have a compound clip in the original, and make changes to that compound clip, it will be changed also in your duplicate.
ОтветитьEven though this was simple, it was excellent! Great idea!
I do have a bit of "stupid" question though... can you duplicate a project into another library, and if so what are the steps to do so? Asking because I have a big messed up library that I want to take some of it into a new library to reuse and/or tweek, without having to open the one big slow library that I'm getting fed up with opening lol
Really great video, acquired writing👊
Ответитьin simple terms: SAVE AS...
ОтветитьThank you! Was looking for the answer to this exact inquiry.
ОтветитьNice man! Just what I was searching for!
ОтветитьIf I duplicate the project, and have the original footage can I delete the library and make a new one
ОтветитьHi Marcos. Thanks for your tutorial. I duplicated a project because I wanted it in two different languages. However, when I made changes to the title (far, far away), and the rolling credits, the changes occurred on my original as well as the duplicate. I assume I will have to make new and separate titles and rolling credits for my second version?
ОтветитьThank you, please next time don't duplicate everything you say.
Ответить3/4 of the video to get to the information Yap yap yap yap
ОтветитьThank you for the information!!! Appreciate it!!
ОтветитьSo... here is the same thing in 20 seconds: if you have a MAC, go to the file, and click CMD+D. If you have Windows, go with... I dunno what. and Ta-daaaaa!! What "content creators" must understand: when we have a problem with a program, we want to look it up, get it, do it. Get in, get out. No BS. One minute, that's all. Guys, MAKE IT FAST! NO TALK!!! That will get you more subscribers and fans. I always advise content creators, when they start doing a video: Stop for a second, and ask yourself the question: how could I do the same video under one minute??
ОтветитьCOULD SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN AT LAST WHAT THE HELL IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PROJECT AND AN EVENT??? In plain English.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьHuge time waster, thanks a lot.
Ответитьthanks!!!!
ОтветитьHey man, came across your channel and subscribed and just want to say you're doing an amazing job creating videos for beginners like myself trying to learn FCPX.
ОтветитьThanks much. Why in the world is Apple so allergic to having a "Save As" on their computers or programs? It's totally stupid!
ОтветитьWhy when I delete something from duplicated project, it delete same from original?
ОтветитьThanks for your advise!
ОтветитьThank You! This function is so different than most Apple apps. Example: Logic you just select "save as". The Pages APP has the duplicate function. Would be nice if Apple could keep these the same in all apps. "Save as" is so much easier than any other option I have seen.
ОтветитьI know how to copy and paste effects from clip to clip. But how do you copy the entire changes on one project (effects, cuts) and paste them on another project with the same videos? The reason I am asking is I built a project that was exported through PluralEyes 4. 3 layers of videos all edited, cut, with some video and audio effects applied. But then something happened to the synced clip and some of the videos are offline - it says modified clip. So I want to sync these same videos on PluralEyes again and export an xml file onto FCPX, but instead of editing the whole thing again, can I just copy the cuts and effects from the edited project and paste them on a new project with the same videos? Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you big time!
ОтветитьThanks.
ОтветитьSooo much talk for "make a right click at the project timeline" and what to do with a duplicate?!
Ответитьwill duplicating the project also double the render files which result in very very large file sizes?
ОтветитьThank U!
ОтветитьJesus fuck, you wasted 3 minutes to explain a 10 second tip, and including no extra value of any sort, it's insane
ОтветитьThanks Marcos! Whenever I search for a 'how to' on FCPX you are invariably the first result - that's why I subscribed!!
ОтветитьHey, Marcos. Do you know the best codec and export settings if one's video is going to be projected at an event?
ОтветитьI have Final Cut 10.4.3. I cannot get the "duplicate project" option to show up. Oh, I see. I must first arrange my workspace to see PROJECTS in rows and columns. Thank you!
ОтветитьHello, mine didn't work. I duplicate the project and change the music of the duplicated project but the original was also changed. Please help :)
ОтветитьAll these fucking tutorials jezus fucking christ come on man a fucking intro of 1 minute and 30 seconds. THE TITLE SAYS ENOUGH JUST GET TO IT holy shit I'm so fucking fed up with these cancer tutorials that have a 10 minute fucking intro. You are a content creator, are you even familiar with the term attention span?
ОтветитьThis is great, SO STUPID they don't give you a "Save" or "Save As" in FCP!
ОтветитьThanks for the info. Some time I duplicate just to save it at a certain time just in case I have to go back.
ОтветитьWhat's the difference between duplicating a project and making a snapshot of a project?
ОтветитьHello my friend. One thing with this method is that if you change text or rearrange content within your “compound clips” within that duplicate, it changes the original timeline as well. The safest route is to right click on your project and select duplicate project as snapshot. None of those problems will happen in that case.
