Tried making some mushroom chili with some mushrooms about out of time. Sauteed in some olive oil and got them pretty brown. Then I added some chili beans. Some garlic. Some tomato sauce. Some chilli powder. Cumin. Dash supercharge blend. Heart burn in a bottle. Onion. Salt. It was ok until I added two more ingredients. Strong beef broth and wine. $3 bottle of wine I bought 2 years ago is finally getting some use. I tried a bit of cider vinegar in some separately and it just wasn't the flavor I wanted. I thought of this scene when I wrote the recipe.

This is my favorite scene from this movie and one of my local radio stations that I like to listen to actually even used some samples from this scene as part of the intro for its morning talk show program since that was actually how I first discovered this.

I thought this was funny as a kid.

I found this movie and Richard Pryors moving movie to be very similar but both great flicks absolute classics!!

Me and my sister laughed so much at this scene when I was a kid at the whole movie really it was hilarious but this scene cracked us up

Funniest scene in the entire movie. I can't see any other actor making as funny faces than Chevy Chase did when reacting to learning what it was he was eating. From his eyes, you could see his brain thinking about it as the waitress was explaining it. And the "clink" of the fork hitting the plate when he drops it. Yeah, funniest scene in the whole movie!!! HILARIOUS!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
