C&C Tiberian Sun (Nod story)

Sadly there are many in the real world today who think like Nod.

Cabal's voice is so epic in these cutscenes.

This game was way ahead of its time

Cabal's voice, when it comes to AI be it games or movies, was always to me one of the most unique/menacing sounding. Very memorable.

Too bad there wasnt an interaction with Slavik when playing as GDI.

Even though this ending isn't cannon and GDI stopped the destruction of their space station, all they really did is get Kane hurt, Slavic killed in the long run, C.A.B.A.L. destroyed, lots of people killed in Firestorm, and delay the inevitable.

The story in these games and the production quality and writing quality of the cutscenes genuinely made a young me feel like I was playing a movie, this game was one of my favourites of all time to this day the cutscenes still stick with me

i never played the game so i went onto the street in riot gear when i saw this chanting peace through power until 16 other people joined me and we were arrested after burning down our entire town; it's a small town.

why this video has proper aspect ratio but when i run the game on my 4//3 screen it has shitty black bars and therefore all actor are squished

Still the best C&C to this day IMHO (especially if you add Firestorm to the mix, but UNDO the weakening of the artillery and also strengthen the GDI-Version, too because artillery that can't one-shot a damn foot-soldier is worthless IMHO!), the atmosphere, the actors (Slavik and Kane were especially well played, but General Solomon wasn't bad either!), the graphics were good, too for a strategy game!
Sure I like the others in the series as well (Red Alert will always hold a special place in my heart, since I had the collector's edition of that and basically carried it around with me because friends always wanted me to bring it with me when I met them!), but this is just the best IMHO...ps: To have real fun: Give yourself access to Cabal's Core-Defender and air-defense-obelisk :)

I love the subtle world building and yet right away, you know who NOD are and what they’re about. Oxana and the news anchor are really memorable for me.

I understand that nod has some attributes that make people to sympathize to it (like strong ideology that promises paradise for everyone, loud slogans and charismatic leader. communism 2.0 in a nutshel) while gdi has some government attributes that we all hate but after i played 1 and 2 parts i don't see why people prefer nod. people who try to save whole humanity from tiberium are bad because they don't help at first decades of millions of people and then billions (which is of course very easy task) but people who made most part of planet very hard to live are good because they help people who live there, so they just solve the problem that they created themselves. I don't understand the logic.

C&C 2 and halo 2 are like those weird cousins that live with you but are like bro and sis lemme tell you 1 analogy mammoth mark 1/3 tanks MM2 a walker mech like halo CE/3 primary ARs but halo 2 smgs experimental sequels then 3's like 1 2 hybrids for both C&C and halo

The Peace for Brotherhood of NOD is blindness loyalty and judgement from inside to outside. Peace offered by GDI is based on freedom, rights and beliefs amongst the most people in common sense. Peace for brotherhood is the status, for GDI is by definition and it's true purpose.

You know, when looking at "Today's execution" segment, I can't help but think, "Yep, this is basically ISIS if they had a competent and charismatic leader and the riches from tiberium".

Also, one thing that for some reason really stands out is the difference between how people of Nod respond to Hassan and to Kane with Slavik. With Hassan, it's like a chore. With Kane and Slavik, it's actual zealotry. Hell, even in Firestorm, with no Kane, Nod soldiers shout "Kane lives in death!" much more enthusiastically.

Good story telling, using history and mythology.

I get it know Nod black hand referring to the "Serbian black hand" a secret society anton called the Serbian wolf meaning fearlessness.

Is it true that people in the world of command and conquer suffer opression by the hands of GDI? And is it true that GDI is making experiments with innocent civilians or is all of these lies in order for people to join Nod? If someone knows the answer please write it down.
