I thinks its funny how this company echoes the rhetoric that their devices are malware proof and such, as someone who works in this field I can tell you how dangerously easy it is for an iOS device to be compromised simply by connecting to a public network unprotected or visiting the wrong website, and there is practically nothing you can do as the consumer besides turning it in to Apple to resolve it.... mind-blowing, what an awful business model.

Thank you, yes viruses and hacks are very very rare, as long as you don’t install anything sketchy, “the hub” and sketchy sites on their own sometimes do carry malware but those can be fixed via clearing safari cache

Oh my gosh ty so much I thought that I got a virus but it was fake I was so scared

I have a question. I accidently clicked on an add that turned out to be a trojan horse virus/malware and im really worried as i dont know what it is or does. I accidentally clicked on the URL link that it gives you but shut it down before the website appeared. My question is does it gain access to all my data right away (as soon as it appeared on my iphone)? I restored my iphone and returned it back to its last icloud safety "setting/copy" within 15-25 min after discovering the virus. But can it steal my data (notes, pictures, messages etc) as soon as it lands on my phone or do i have to open an app for it to gain access? And how do i know for certain that it's gone so that i can start using my phone without worrying that its still there?

I downloaded the scam add and then deleted the app am i safe?

What if you have website data that won’t delete? Is hard reset only option?
