An absolutely stunning monument. Especially considering when it was built. I fear our misguided and indoctrinated youth will force us into renaming it.
Ответитьbuilt on a very special tree.
ОтветитьDefiantly nuclear missles
ОтветитьI see this thing everyday at work. And everytime i look i just stare for a few seconds never gets old
ОтветитьI looked for the corner stone, I did not see it
ОтветитьIt is apparent that we have our very own KNOW NOTHING party in 2023, people insistent on creating a country that excludes anyone disagreeing with them.
ОтветитьWe are also welcome to listen to the music inside it's walls.
ОтветитьSpecial tree where
Ответитьi clicked on this video expecting comments talking about Special Trees lmao
Ответить1 month ago
ОтветитьSo….whats exactly the point of it? To be in the tall building record?
Ответитьvisit the Washington monument and listen closely, hear the music within its walls, 10 cents per head
ОтветитьWashington Monument: slapped together with barely any money, literally just an obelisk
Historians: This monument represents the singularity of Washington's stature and blah blah blah

ОтветитьWow! Great video. I love our American history. By the way, I have been to the Washington Monument.
ОтветитьListen to the music within its walls.
Ответить666 feet really
ОтветитьPagan Egypt obelisk just in pagan Roman sun god worship at the Vatican
ОтветитьThank you for including the role Blessed Pope Pius IX played in the construction. 🇻🇦
ОтветитьThose cattle were kept there during the Civil War, to feed the President, Congress, and the Judges of the Supreme Court. in case of a siege on the city by the South, or if there was a default on the Federal Government loans.
ОтветитьSomeone please tell me thats not really that guys name !?!
ОтветитьObelisks were one of the earliest forms of timekeeping.
ОтветитьThe F35 boondoggle war plane is a $1 trillion program. Shave the money off of this idiotic Congressional Military Industrial Complex and it's owners operators the Warfare Queens who never lose contract.
ОтветитьThe tree
ОтветитьGive back Hawaiian Independence!
ОтветитьEGYPTIAN column that stands for RA 🐲👁…It’s on our money 💰 and it’s the reason for the STRANGE SYMBOLISM on our MONEY 💵.. it’s not a COINCIDENCE. And it is SUNWUKONGS MONUMENT IN THE USA 🇺🇸 there are Many Columns for my OTHER INCARNATIONS including ASHOKA in INDIA 🇮🇳. THESE ARE ALL SUNWUKONG
ОтветитьMaybe we need less monument building and more focus on mental illnesses which put everyone at risk.
ОтветитьYears ago, I was able to take tour of the stones. You climbed many steps, but at each landing, the ranger gave a description and history of each group of stones. This made the climb a bit easier.
ОтветитьWhat was a $1 back then worth today? 100? 1000?
ОтветитьThe phallus of Osiris.
ОтветитьAmazing that the Washington monument history and stories it has in its walls reflects so well this country. It shows struggles, different ways of protest, of people complaining for economic, social or political reasons, for racial equality, for rights, for the different things that still to this day fills our political discussions… but it was built, like this nation, it was built on top of all those. Courage, leadership, and hard work… the essence of America. What a symbolism.
ОтветитьStrange, since 2020 you guys have'nt said one ill word about our amazing president....
ОтветитьI remember at a young age being able to walk down the stairs in it, but because of vandalism of the markers inside on the landings, the NPS has stopped letting people walk down them, one of the markers was made of jade, and people were breaking off pieces of it.
ОтветитьFrom New Zealand and I'm in tears. I'm probably more patriotic and know more about USA history than 99% of Americans.
ОтветитьThe age of presidential monuments seems to be over, at least on this scale. No unanimity over choice, political infighting, endless controversies & objections from various groups, etc., would thwart any attempts. Beyond this reality, though, few ever are likely to measure up to Washington in our own time or the foreseeable future.
ОтветитьI hope in 200 years we can look back at a historical video like this one and see all the challenges it took to complete our boarder wall with this current divided country it will be no easy task.
ОтветитьThis was beautiful! Thank you! God bless!
ОтветитьWashington was an old white guy, what will the beta manbuns think?
ОтветитьI’m surprised today’s “culture” hasn’t called the monument “racist” yet for being too white.
ОтветитьKnow Nothings - the forefathers of the modern GOP.
ОтветитьWow i did know people can go inside to see but i best that alot stair 🪜to go way up 🔝 same like the statue of liberty 🗽 in ny
ОтветитьLove the monument
ОтветитьThere are people who know the origin of these obelisk.
ОтветитьIt always resembled a Klansman watching over the mall, but interesting story (old cheap school kids joke that that was where George was buried and that was his ...nevermind).
ОтветитьBeautiful masonic structure. It's situated in such an idealistic location. What a treat to walk up to it, lean on it, see the views from that small hill top especially during the festivals. It has a unique charisma.
ОтветитьInteresting, I was always told construction stopped due the Civil War.
ОтветитьIt's breathtaking when seen in person.
ОтветитьAm I the only one hear laughing at Mike Litoris’s name?
ОтветитьWhenever my son & I drive up to visit my parents at Arlington National Cemetery, I look for the Washington Monument. It always reminds me of the undying sacrifices of President Washington & our Founding Fathers…. 🇺🇸🕊️🇺🇸
