Nailing more than 6 inches from a bond hand nailing is better
Ответитьgreatjob! wish he did the ridge cap to show up! is it me the wood at the ridge cap peak had holes in it? also, to confirm, you never nail at the last seam of the shingle or only on the butt end does that apply? thanks!
ОтветитьThank you soooo much!!! That helped me a lot brother I appreciate your $1,000 tip
ОтветитьI've worked with some guys and first thought I swear I hope y'all don't do this for a living 😅 y'all suck ass lol type of day and if ya boss doesn't have a tan your days gonna be Straight shit
ОтветитьVery impressive!
ОтветитьGet yourself an Hitachi nail gun you could be faster!!!!💯💯💯💯
ОтветитьWell not to bad but at the end of the video not sure if I was seeing rotted wood at the ridge sure looked like it though
Ответитьprimo thats normal
Ответитьjust started roofing 3 weeks ago and your crazy fast everyone I roof with is fast but your faster.
ОтветитьI have a faster method with setup
Ответитьcompa no le ajusta el puente con la
cinta?? bueno la explicacion pero mal en la práctica ,mal Clavado toda esa parte
Would be nice if these videos are in Spanish too! Thanks for sharing. Impressive nailing! I like that, "Guys, please learn how to nail." Yeah! Whatever method you find to be good, figure it out, do it right. So many shingles nailed wrong, over-nailed, not nailed because someone not caring.
Ответитьat my best hand nailing, I ran ten square a day. you get in a groove and roll with it. nail gunning 15-18 sq. valleys and step flashing slows it down. I DO NOT MISS IT!
ОтветитьI'm a roofer....ur slow and u miss the nail line on half ur shots.....we call this a HACK STAR
ОтветитьRoofing is an art and he just did a masterpiece great job 💥
ОтветитьYou literally nailed abt 1.5-2 inches from the seam exactly what you said not to do, you did . Never sacrifice quality for speed. Especially on a roof
ОтветитьOut of curiosity, how long do american homes last without maintenance/repairs? Every aspect of building them looks incredibly cheap and nasty. It's as if they're built with the intention of being disposable. No bricks, no concrete roof tiles, no copper pipes, no earth on plug sockets etc. Looks like corners are cut everywhere. I mean this type of roof wouldn't be seen on a dogs kennel in England.
ОтветитьBro, come to germany and See how a real Roof is build. Do u ever hear the word slate?
ОтветитьMan I'll dust this mf ass
ОтветитьWhy can't all roofers be like this instead we got ones in our neighborhood who goof off for 12 hours straight during spring and summer. And stick around for 5 days.
ОтветитьPretty easy to be fast when your not putting the proper amount of nails lmao
ОтветитьThe sound of that nail gun when he nails the shingles sounds like the opening intro to Terminator 2
ОтветитьHis not that fast
ОтветитьResidential re roofing is the hardest physical job concrete and cribbing I'd give 2nd 🎉
Ответитьorale bato
ОтветитьSo much joy stumbling across this video 😂
ОтветитьI'm faster no jokes
Ответить😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьThis is how you do it on a 2/12
ОтветитьYeah thats not fast.
ОтветитьI want a competent roofer not a fast one
ОтветитьSeventeen shingles in under 2 minutes! Bravo!
ОтветитьThis is not even close to fast....and very sloppy on the nailing. The nails are not where they are supposed to be. Imagine how bad your back would feel after 8-10 hours of working vent over like that. I know what I'm talking about.
ОтветитьMy cousin Frank Rizzo will work circles around you.
ОтветитьGreat Job.. enjoyed the video very much.
ОтветитьRamon!
ОтветитьPretty average speed
ОтветитьThat’s exactly how I set my roofs up gotta watch where you put that second nail
Nice 8 inch steps most people cut that in half that’s a lame out I’m 63 so it’s harder on my back😂
Dont have to slam the gun into shingles gun does the work.get Hitachi pull the spring you'll see fast.
ОтветитьHey amigo no golpes lanpistola es arastradita nomad luego clavo chuecos
ОтветитьLmao 😂😂 The way he said it, " guys learn how to nail! Thanks for the videos.
ОтветитьI've been roofing for 30 years. I'm not saying I'm the fastest in the world but I layed 14 bundles in 10 minutes and that's not cap. I have no reason to lie. I layed 4 and 2/3rds SQ in 10 minutes. Again I'm not saying I'm the fastest but I can still fly. Maybe not now I'm 46 years old. I'm sure some people my age still can but not me. I just watched your video and I'm sorry buddy but I'm a LOT FASTER than you. I'm not knocking you and I'm not being disrespectful. I'm just being honest.
ОтветитьGive me phone number fixing roof please
ОтветитьAmazing! You get my vote.
ОтветитьI've been roofing for 20 years myself. Never owned a company. I like the way you use the gun as a guide and I watched where your other hand is placed. I'm left handed and I have in the past used my right hand slightly past middle ways to slide the shingle right into place. I need a little more practice using gun as a guide though. Now a days I'm ground man mostly. I still have love for it but maybe I need FedEx job if I'm not my own boss here lol. I feel 20 years is long enough
ОтветитьAll them nails anit in the sure nail line
ОтветитьThis guy knows his business. I see so many race thru it and I bet there are leaks. Roofing is a destination, not a race.
Ответить@Roofing Solutions by Eric Garcia ... Dude is a bad nailer. (5 nails is better than 4, but why not 6?) Sometimes, two nails on the right, too far to the right. Often, nails not close enough to the left of the shingle, or too far to the left. He went too high or too low, too many times. Some nails are sunk too deep. Laying out shingles in any manner does not make a good roofer, and fast, poorly done, surely does not make a good roofer. ... You say that is your technique... you're in trouble... well, the homeowner is in trouble.
ОтветитьLol
Ответить5-nailing? Where is THAT code?... Here in FL it's 6.
Good nailing otherwise... You should explain further the reasons why the nails need to be within a very specific horizontal range. I do repairs, and alot of repairs I do on architecturals is resetting laminate pieces that have slid down or blown out from not having any nails in them due to "high-nailing". I replace a LOT of hip & ridge cap due to high-nailing and over-driven nails as well.
