Resident Evil Village FPS Drop / Memory Leak RTX

Mines doing it on an RTX 3060 and an i7 9700KF

Memory Leak is still present even with RTX off!

10 Months later and this crap is still happening, F Capcom!

Its the rtx shit, its enabled even on unsupported hardware..i checked the config ini and we cant disable the fuckin effects that cause this slowdown.

i usually only get extreme frame drops when fighting the daughters because of all the damn flys

This is also happening in non-RTX cards too. I have a 1050 2gb (yes i know) and the first encounter with Lycans was going pretty smooth until the end of the fight where the cutscene begins and it went down to like 5/10 fps, then after the cutscene of the old lady it went back to normal 30/40 fps

try load game again in menu, or re-start its a shit but works here..

Drivers. Ive got a 2070 laptop and runs perfectly maxed out and 60+

use 461.92 driver. I dont have any fps drops

Have the same issue. But it appears that the stuttering of Dimitrescus daughters is another, but different, fuck-up....

Yup same issue here. 5600x w/ 3070 -- RT enabled and everything Max*. I'm relieved to see that I'm not the only one experiencing this. I found that dropping shadows from "max" to "high" seems to resolve the issue, or at least extend the time between Capcom's implementation of slideshow simulator. Also, wtf is up with the VRAM calculator? Menu shows 11 GB+ but afterburner indicates 7.5-8GB allocated.

Same issue, I thought it was just me! It's ruining game. I can't tell why, but sometimes the true game-stopping slowdown happens when I approach certain assets that I can't discern yet. It'll be semi-choppy, then I walk towards certain areas, and then it really rockets down into slideshow territory. Bizarre. RTX3070 here.

Absolutely love how Capcom are completely and utterly silent about it too.

Happens to me too. Every cutscene and in certain parts of the castle. Really sad :(

So apparently turning Raytracing off before starting your game does not trigger this BS.

Same problem RTX 2080 Super. Happens to me in the small church in the village.

this is happening to me as well. im at 100fps and then it stays at 72fps never going up even when i lower the graphics all the way down and lower the resolution. does anyone know if there is a fix for this

This happens to me too in the exact same area.

Happens to me too, i’ll be running solid smooth 60 fps, but some random occurrence causes the game to practically halve the frame rate and sometimes worse, and it never recovers, i have to restart the game
