You can’t change what’s behind you, but you can do something about what’s in front of you. God’s mercy is bigger than any mistake you’ve made. He can still get you to where you’re supposed to be. You have to do something important: forgive yourself. You have enough people in life against you; don’t be against yourself. Don’t go around thinking about everything you’ve done wrong.

Rehabilitation centres should be expanded and such mentors to share more of their stories and help those that are drowning

For you to remain sober you have to be in contact with former addicts and current addicts...don't be alone

God has great things in store ahead for this guy...God will restore double that was lost♥️

It's never too late for you. Apart from wanting to volunteer also think of going back to school to complete your studies. You are a very intelligent person from the way you talk. The best part is that you have a job, a supportive boss and family. Thank God for that.A lot of young people like you would love to have a job but they can't find it. Your new life has just began. Your father was suffering so much inwardly coz of you. He died of heartbreak but learn to forgive yourself and move on .your dad is at a better place

When he said he lost his dad and broke down, that brought me back to the VERY MINUTE I LEARNED I HAD LOST MY DAD. Bro, i know your pain albeit not exactly...but i know. At least my dad was sick for a long time and we knew he was on the last leg of his journey, but that doesn’t lessen the pain of losing someone who gave you life. My life has spiraled ever so badly since, but seeing stories like this one, gives me a push to be better so that i can preserve his legacy. I pray that you are healing, brother.
