that house does not have power . No lights
ОтветитьThis episode is amazing television. The writing, acting, directing, everything. All the best the medium can offer.
ОтветитьAnother briiliant music selection for a deeply moving scene. Bruce McGill was excellent. Never tire of watching this episode.
"Yeah, I helped him build the. He was my Partner. You understand? You Understand!"
The one that upset me was when Larry's partner was killed. So sad
ОтветитьWasn't this an Edgar Allan Poe story?
ОтветитьWatched it in the 80s. Best episode ever. I keep coming back.
ОтветитьPedazo de serie y pedazo de canción , bueno toda la banda sonora es chulisima
ОтветитьYep…
Watched every Friday Night.
One of best scenes ever on 80s television.
I so much wish I could go back in time.
This is Vice at its finest. You'd think that Dire Straits had written the song just for this episode; that's how much care went into integrating the music, visuals, acting, direction, and overall production in this clip. Many years later, when The West Wing used the same song to dramatize Bartlett's intention to run for re-election, I thought something to the effect of "That's great... but Vice did it first and did it best!"
ОтветитьThis is one of the greatest television shows ever produced, changed men`s fashion for ever, showed the best American and European mussel cars produced at the time. The music is excellent. Sadly due to political correctness I can not see it ever being remade.
ОтветитьNothing And I Mean Nothing touched this show when it was on its game... It changed TV
ОтветитьWhat a great show! I miss Miami Vice so Much. Great music, great storytelling, great actors. That was the best part of my youth.
ОтветитьThat ending, the music and acting just makes me want to cry. It's so very moving.
ОтветитьThis ending was so heartbreaking. Throughout the episode, you knew Hank was off the deep end, but how this culminated made you realize just how deep into madness he had gone. When he says " funny, he's just a tired, old man. Guess he's kinda relieved it's over." You come to realize he was probably talking about himself. Heart wrenching ending.
ОтветитьThr way Sonny went up those stairs.
ОтветитьCLASSIC
ОтветитьArguably one of the best episodes of the whole series. Certainly in my top five.
ОтветитьGod they got so Right..
ОтветитьThe sockless wonder...and the other guy.
ОтветитьThe Americans used this song in their series finale over 3 decades after Miami Vice. If that's not the definition of a masterpiece I don't know what is.
ОтветитьBest show ever
ОтветитьThere has never been anything to ever come close to this show, never will, Michael Mann is a legend
ОтветитьThe best scene EVER. The music is electric
ОтветитьJust a perfect episode. This scene made me go out and buy the "Money for Nothing" album.
ОтветитьMy favorite Miami Vice episode by far ....
ОтветитьMy favourite by far
ОтветитьIMHO, "Out Where the Buses Don't Run" may be the single BEST episode of ANY series ever! It was great on multiple levels, so "layered". I liked McGill's portrayal of Weldon: a once highly decorated cop (he built up a meticulous case over years against Arcaro), he "lost" it w/ Arcaro getting off on a technicality (his obsession with Arcaro is like Ahab's with the great white whale), his wife left him. . .but the ep. doesn't show him as a total whack job; he has moments of lucidity where it shows how he was once a sharp detective, with his intel on the two traffickers. The ending is brilliant b/c it shows the unbreakable bond between "partners": when Marty admits to Crockett that he helped him build the wall; you could just imagine Tubbs and Crockett doing the same for one another if the circumstances arose. . .
ОтветитьI loved the Spider BETTER, ...I was PISSED when it was blown up🤬 COOLEST drama EVER 😎🤙
ОтветитьThis was basically one long extrenely well written music video.
ОтветитьFk me. Never seen this before. What a blend of iconic tv show and peerless music. Of its time and brilliant for it 😮
Ответить"No Guarantees In The Western World" in next episode (Buddies) rivals this ending. Two of the absolute best all-time anywhere.
ОтветитьD Day
ОтветитьHow do you get an American V8 sound like Ferrari V12?
Ответитьwhat made the show iconic besides its wardrobe and location shots, it was the music used on each episode.
ОтветитьThe scariest scene: the man in the wall. Couldn’t sleep that night.
Ответить"I helped him build the wall".
These simple few words define unconditional loyalty.
Not the best acting but the best soundtrack
ОтветитьA true classic. No more words could describe this MASTERPIECE!
ОтветитьMiami back then was like Chicago today. Crazy to think it, but true.
Ответитьwya?
ОтветитьD Day
ОтветитьYou understand?
ОтветитьWELDON was a foreshadowing of CROCKETT...and the final exchange with his partner LANG should have been with TUBBS.
ОтветитьI remember watching this when it aired. It's still spine tingling. The ending gave me that omg moment.
ОтветитьTakes me back to the days I would get to stay up late and watch it with my dad. All these years and I still remember it.
ОтветитьMark Knopflers guitar magnificence!
Ответить“Out Where the Buses Don't Run” - Miami Vice: Season 2,Episode 4.
ОтветитьUna obra maestra.....como pocas veces ví. Tuve la dicha de ser contemporáneo, allá por los 80' s nunca nos perdimos un episodio de la serie Mami Vice.-
Ответитьこれまた見たいけど、日本だと無理ですよね。。。
ОтветитьTheres trouble and Crockett and Tubbs are rushing toward it!! The music of this series....its just such a great snapshot of the 80s MTV sound. I have the entire series.
