Suggested Fix for a Samsung Galaxy GPS Location Bug

Toggling location fix only lasts one trip for me. Have to keep toggling each time I want to use GPS--usually after I have already driven off course.

My S8+ has this problem too, also my wife's S8+.. location suddenly stops working at google maps or any app that uses it.
Yes, toggle the icon refreshes the location but very soon it stops working again.. that's ridiculous!!

When using direction, my location is not accurate. Create issue in direction.

My S21 ultra seems to have a location bug with the photo location address. For instance, if I take a picture in my garden, in the details it says the address is 150 meters away. The photo appears on the map at the right location, and this happens at other locations. When I have got the address to work it reverts to the wrong address the next time I look at the picture details. I have done the "wave" with the phone to make sure the GPS is OK. When I first noticed this it was shortly after getting the phone. I got onto Samsung help and I eventually ended up doing a full reset. Didn't work.

Excellant! It worked on my S7! I was having major trouble trying to drive for Uber. The app uses maps to show you where to go and it was lagging badly and I couldnt find out where to go and had to ask the customer for help. Quite embarrassing!! Your fix worked! Thanks buddy!!

Hello, I got a Samsung Galaxy A12 and when I go on Google maps, it says that the accuracy is low, so I look up how to make it better and it says go to settings them location then mode but I have not got a button that says mode. Then I found this video and it still says it's low. Any chance you can help me please

toggle off & on solve this on my M33 when i faced with GPS issues like (GPS can't connect) or (show incorrect position & speed while driving )

Not just old phones, happens os s22 ultra

All of a sudden, all of my gps navigation apps aren't working. I've tried them all. I have tried absolutely everything. Was on the phone with support for 2 hrs and they can't tell me what's wrong. I have a note20. It bounces my location around everywhere and keeps rerouting me in the wrong directions.

experiencing this right now on a Galaxy S20

My S21+ loses GPS almost immediately after Maps is put in the background. If I don't switch to it soon enough it quits the current trip with a routing error. Within seconds of bringing it back to the foreground, it finds my location again, so probably a power saving setting that I can't find. The location toggle unfortunately not a fix for me. I'll keep searching.
