Praveen I usually admire your perspective on ancient built but I don't expect you to air something totally stupid these are tressure vault maintained from the time or beyound chola Dynasty these are history hints of our trading relations and war ransoms. Nothing like hell or doors after doors and these are not guarded by nagas or any other extra terrestrial beings. The one door which is not open is plain door with a three lock system. That's it. Even there are stories that these vaults are the tombs of great Gurus and that's it. Don't picture it as a superstitious one . Many temples where ransom vaults just because it's so safe even time passes by. As temples are part of our belief system. No one dare to loot it. This is the same reason why most of the temples in north are destroyed by invasions. Praveen I respect your intuitions on our lost history but I expect some authentic views from you. It's ridiculous to think that the gateway to hell would be inside a Temple. Please. The doors are sealed shut because priceless treasures of the temple are sealed away. And a heavy curse is put on anyone who would dare to open the doors and steal it. The world isn't going to end if it's opened. But this country will certainly face its doom if they dare to steal the treasures of the Gods.

There is an interview of an IAS officer K Jayakumar who was a part of team in valuing the treasure what he said is that those treasures and gems were offered to the deity the deity is 16ft long so according to that Chains are 8Ft long, rings are also huge and other ornaments were offered to lord Padmanabha. He entered in Vault A according to him rough vaulation is approx Rs5Lakh crore worth. There are stories that Vault B is place of samadhi of Agastya Rishi
