I guess this video was produced prior to 5.1 version. now you can enable ndisplay lunch on a local PC and without switchboard :)
ОтветитьWould it be possible to map the scene onto a L-Shaped wall using 2 projectors? Thanks!
ОтветитьIt’s been years now and nothing has really happened. All we see is 5 min shorts. I guess I’ll have to push the envelope.
ОтветитьHi, great video! Did you have some kind of system to control focus simultaneously in Unreal and the physical camera? Or is it something you tweaked afterwards? Thank you!
ОтветитьAnd you not making money by advertising food and those equipments!? Yeh right. 👍
Ответитьyou have a static ip conflict between tracker device and ?virtual screen or projector
Ответитьbeautiful - would love to see your progress since :)
ОтветитьHello, congratulations for your channel.
I wanted to ask you about a problem I have with my Laser video projector. Let's see if you can help me. It's a Hisense PX Pro.
When I record with my Sony A7SIII camera what the video projector is projecting on the wall. I notice a flicker that despite varying the shutter speed, I can't get it to go away. And I've tried both Pal and NTSC.
Could you tell me how I can solve this flicker or if it happens to you too? Greetings.
Hey Ryan,
I'm not sure if you've already covered it, but I was wondering if you could use the projector and green screen continuously.
Maybe if you rented a warehouse on peerspace or something, and shot with the projector then ran out of frame to the greenscreen you could get more of that Mandalorian wide look...Depending on what you're shooting you might even be able to move the projector Infront of the greenscreen for a third shot and so on if needed.
nDisplay?
ОтветитьI've been considering using this technique as a backup option for insert shots on exterior scenes, in the event that weather\lighting changes before I can film all my insert shots in a scene. If I filmed the background plates on location, then filmed it with the actors in a mini studio, using rear projection, would using a tracking system work on simple shoulder mounted shots? I wouldn't do any elaborate moves, just simple should mount shots (no tilt or pan).
ОтветитьVery interested in learning more about live action rendering and shooting using virtual sets with Unreal Engine and rear screen projection for ultra low budgets.
ОтветитьThis may not be a tutorial but it is very educational as well as giving me a good idea of how much is put into it and I'm excited and can't wait to get my hands into this world of virtual production.
ОтветитьThanks so much, I studied cinema but ended up working on live tv, now I'm trying to get on virtual production and want to help my fiend who is an indie filmmaker.
ОтветитьCanon DSLR for this or a m43 Panasonic camera in unreal ?
Ответитьgot update video ?
ОтветитьThis is amazing and just what I was looking for. Please stay on this and dial it in as user friendly as possible as this is the future of DIY filmmaking to be free of location issues and to let the imagination run wild for story ideas no longer chained to budget and location.
ОтветитьDid you ever figure out the Switchboard issue? I'm using the Vive Mars Camtrack system and I can get the camera tracking to work in the Editor, but not when I launch it in Switchboard. Really confused as to why it doesn't work
ОтветитьAwesome video! Thanks for all those tips! How did you managed to sync the real and the digital camera? I just can’t seem to get the right parallax… I’m using a Elgato 4K
ОтветитьHow could you use a normal projector to do this? W shadows I’m trying to figure a trick around that, thanks!
