I am new to watercoloring and am enjoying learning to accept the looseness of watercolors as opposed to acrylics! Today was my first attempt at leaves! I've enjoyed abstract so far.

Why do people in your generation hold pencils and pens and brushes the way you do? Which I know is not the way you were taught to hold it. It's like some weird fashion trend to hold pens and pencils in a really weird way.

I only draw in pencil- I can see now that this is just a demonstration of how much control one has of their paint brush I can already feel my hand aching LOL
