why you didn't show your profile of turbosquid. I just want to see your profile!!!
ОтветитьI need just a little boost. I started blender about 1 year ago. I know how to make low poly models. I'm getting way better at it as i go along . does anyone want to link up with me and try to make some models?
Ответитьwhat are 'trendy niches ' ? When you say it what you mean by that !! Can you explain a bit more please.
ОтветитьDude, make a playlist of videos from start bto finish as a course for beginners.
ОтветитьSo we not gonna talk about that 3d printable vulva+clitoris?
ОтветитьI’m a bit skeptical. Why did you blur out your work? Wouldn’t this be free advertising?
ОтветитьMost people sell nothing and the lucky one might sell their model up to 4 times in a year! The only one making money is the site selling the models and the artists get screwed as usual!
ОтветитьEvery so often, I watch videos like this, depending on my search. This time, I came across your video, and It really motivated me!
Ответить(TLDR below)
For those who are learning 3D modeling for the money. I first of all 100% agree, making money is really cool! But! You will not get paid for the first, second, third, tenth model you make. for me I learned blender and 3D modeling because i wanted to make characters. not for the money, but purely out of the fact that I wanted too, and after I made my first good looking character body, I was hooked, and for 4 months straight I lived and breathed blender, I never tried to sell anything, and just modeled things I wanted to model. and from this passion, I learned blender in a really short time. sure I have some weaknesses, but when I go to make something that I am bad at, I will do it because WANT to just for the fun of it, I will be bad at it for a bit but sure enough, I will also increase my skill.
TLDR:
Passion for the craft = fast growth/learning = making good quality models
The want for money = frustration and slow growth = making bad quality models.
the secret ingredient is passion. find something YOU want to make, not something others want.
wait until you feel ready to take the plunge and create something others want! Good Luck!
Nope. İ made car models but still waiting. Nobody visited. Even i did it the cheapest. Also they re realistic models
ОтветитьSo glad to hear this, i make a lot from my top 4 products. I keep telling people quantity has nothing to do with it but nobody listens hahah!
ОтветитьNice video, but I don't recommend turbosquid, I had a bad experience with this site. CgTrader, 3dExport and 3d ocean are better options.
Ответитьi would stay way from Blender guru's donut tutorial as a beginner, way too complex and it doesn't teach you the basics of modeling, i recommend weapon tutorials, they teach you about extrude, bevels, scale, rotate, loop cuts, connecting vertices, and so much more.
ОтветитьQuestion: I've been 3D modelling for some time but when you say "gane ready assets" what do you mean? What makes it game ready and how do i do that?
ОтветитьI dunno, for me it always feels like everything you potentially could make already exists and in much better quality than I ever could make. I don´t plan living off it but it still kinda kills motivation when you feel like you are years too late to the party.
Might just be my lack in creativity, many people sell stuff that already exists and make money from it. I don´t get how though.
This is very useful information! Would you know whether you are taxed on your earnings? Would you know what is the process of filing taxes? If so, can you make a video on how to do the legal aspects of selling 3D models? Thank you very much!
ОтветитьHi I have a doubt. A few years ago I had my models on turbosquid and cgtrader, and I received a warming from turbosquid because apparently they have exclusiveness with the models published there. So I had to choice one of them. Did you put the same models on both sites? Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat video, very appreciated! But i wanted to say something about Blender Goru: Don't go to Blender Goru ... He is no good for beginners. After his beginner tutotrials you will be able to make the result like a monkey, do step A, B, C, but you will not really understand the steps and why you make them, hence you won't learn much and just become a trained monkey ...
ОтветитьWill ai threaten this business model?
ОтветитьHow did 126 sales at 39$ equals 11,032$ 🧐 ?
ОтветитьWhen you sell on Turbosquid/Cgtrader, do you include animations with the models too, or do you sell only the models themselves?
E.g. will people be interested in buying the 3d models only?
Turbo squid collects models form all sites including CGTrader
ОтветитьThanks for this. 126 times $39 is around $4k not $11k, what am i not seeing ?
Ответитьmmmmh... vulva clitoris 3d model... lol..
Ответитьlol 200$ for a quadcopter, I think imma buy a real one
ОтветитьDamn just how much money can you make from 3D modelling? I started it as a hobby but I didn’t know it had this sort of reward or anything
ОтветитьHmm on the not adding up as well, your Etsy currency was set to Taiwan so im curious if your numbers from turbosquid are off and set to Taiwan as well..
ОтветитьIt's just awesome
Ответитьhahsdhahah good
Ответитьi was thinking of selling some high res 3d scans, can you point me into a direction where i can do this, is there a market for this?
ОтветитьNice video, I was strunggle how to sell the model and template as a beginner this helped a lot
ОтветитьI actually started making a donut and for fun not money
ОтветитьThanks so much for the info man! Would love to see your models on TurboSquid. Do you have a link by chance?
ОтветитьFAQ: If you are wondering why the math doesn't add up in some figures, I lowered the prices (and sometimes raised them) depending on the season and the demand, some products had their heyday and now just don't sell like they used to. For those saying that it took me too long to hit 20K, this was always a side hobby. I occasionally posted models throughout the years that were assets from my personal projects. I also had my models up on multiple sites like CGTrader, not just Turbosquid so my earnings are actually higher than mentioned. If you focused on creating quality products based on trending niches and treated this as a serious business, chances are, you can make a lot of money much faster than I did.
ОтветитьThank u for this video man
ОтветитьNice of you to share! ❤
ОтветитьBlender Guru is a monster at Blender, but is not the best at teaching in my opinion
Ответить$39 x 126 = $11,032 ... ?
Ответитьgood video, I've been modeling 3d for a year, I feel like I've learned a lot but I don't know if I'm still ready for the industry, does anyone have any advice to know if you're ready to be in a company? sorry for google translate
ОтветитьHey, nice video! What about the textures? Do you have textures on your models as well?
ОтветитьWhat a time to be alive ❤️
Thank you
