Do you guys sell the blue/ black frame ?
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьThe doubt left is, I think, what to have besides the sunglasses.
A transparent-lenses pair of glasses, or one with Photofusion X?
I also don't trust wholly the thing that indoors, when they are about 8% tinted, vision is the same as with transparent lenses. Not easy to notice the difference, I trust. The same, I don't.
It's like losing a bit of that colour fidelity that makes us want Zeiss lenses in the first place, seems to me (I haven't tried these lenses, any of them).
Hi there, thanks for sharing, did you apply zeiss DuraVision Sun UV coating on this adaptive sun lenses?
ОтветитьDoes it help with computer or laptop brightness
ОтветитьGood video, I would like to know if you can get adaptive glasses that clip onto you glasses. I have to get glasses after cataract surgery. One eye I have monocular diplopia and the other eye I have negative dysphotopsia. I would like to get a progressive glasses but because I do a lot of drive I think that the adaptive lens would be best for me.
ОтветитьCan photochromic coatings, be added to a gradient Lens?
ОтветитьBro can you send me your glss pls. Model supr👍🏻👍🏻❤
ОтветитьWhat is the cost of Adaptive Sun Lenses and are they good for driving the car, especially at night or would you recommend different lenses for driving?
ОтветитьGradient glasses
ОтветитьAre the Zeiss better than the transitions brand ?
ОтветитьHi Rob, what is the make and model of the sunglasses frames you're wearing in this videos.
I recently started watching your videos and they are excellent. Really great content. Bringing frame brands that are not always heard of to light.
The tint vids were also really informative
i like that blue frame . where can i get it?
ОтветитьDear Robert, thanks for this video, I have a question. Is your prescription playing a role if you choose this option? I have two different strengths in dioptrie in both eyes with one eye more astigmatic than the other. Does this have an influence on the color change of the lenses individually? I would appreciate your answer. Cheers from Belgium.
ОтветитьWhat eyeglasses are this ? Love the style
ОтветитьDoes your adaptive sunglasses have a flash coat and if so is it ruby?
ОтветитьOmg where can I get the first glasses you showed?
ОтветитьI have 2 pairs of glasses with photochromic lenses. Blue and brown, and I love them. I very seldom drive so they are perfect.
Thank you, Robert. :-)
Both :)❤
ОтветитьAT LAST! I have been searching for something just like Zeiss Adaptive Sun lenses with a flash coating. After a long search to find a shop that utilizes Zeiss technology and products, I was informed that Zeiss does not sell Adaptive Sun in the US. A stupid corporate decision IMHO. I don't think Essilor makes an equivalent lens. Frustrating...
ОтветитьYour photochromic glasses are awesome. I've been searching for such frame's.
Could you please share details of the photochromic frame's like what they are called and where I could buy ?
Is it pointless to have photochromic coating on a Trivex material since it's already 100% uva uvb protective?
ОтветитьYou think there's ever going to be an Adaptive Sun X available?
ОтветитьWhat is your driving North and the su. Set is on the west with your window down then they will work in thr car
ОтветитьI wear photochromic glasses daily, and if I’m driving and it gets too bright, I put on my prescription sunglasses. So yeah I agree with your conclusion lol.
ОтветитьWhat's the name of those frames you used in this video?
ОтветитьI got Cartier glasses 👓 I would love to get photo vision on it. How can I get a pair of glasses
ОтветитьSo glad that I watched your video before ordering my digital lens with photofusion in. Kinda disappointed about it wont be working well in the car.
ОтветитьThanks for demystifying the photochromic lenses riddle. Very simple yet totally informative and clear review.
ОтветитьHi
Very nice explanation. I just got my prescription photo fusion x and most of time they don't turn dark to sunglasses level even though sun shine is bright.
And from your video I learnt that they don't work well while driving otherwise I was perplexed what's happening. Thank you for the valuable information.
Why don't they turn dark in bright sunlight? Anything to do with UV in sunlight?
Thanks
Hi, may I know if the adaptive lens works with prescription powered lenses!
ОтветитьAwesome videos. I’m guessing there’s no way to get photofusion lenses here in the US at this point. Looks like they perform much better then the leading transition lenses here.
Ответить-0.5 sph-1 cyl with 90degrees correction both eyes
Do I need to wear glasses or can I skip?
Are those Photofusion X?
ОтветитьGreat video! Very well presented.
ОтветитьHi, are Zeiss flash photochromic lens OK for indoors? Can I work on computer with them? Is there any reflection between the eyes and the lens ?
ОтветитьDo the adaptive sun lenses allow for my prescriptions? Don’t wear contacts, so I always get rx on my sunglass lens. The Adaptives do sound like a good idea tho. Thx
ОтветитьHi there! These are stunning frames you have on. What are they?
ОтветитьI purchase all my eyewear with photochromic lenses. UV is present all year around. I tend to not wear sunglasses in the fall & winter which I should on those bright cold days. Spring to early fall I will wear sunglasses. After watching your videos I purchased gradient mirror & full mirror sunglasses. It is definitely clearer to see while driving & city biking. No need to use car sun visor.
ОтветитьBut how do you buy sunglasses with Zeiss adaptive sun lenses? I can't find any online
ОтветитьInteresting video. One important comment: both these lenses are photochromic. AdaptiveSun are photochromic, hence their ability to become darker when there is a lot of UV. Adaptive Sun are photochromic sunglasses.
ОтветитьHere in the United States, it's very hard to get PhotoFusion, and PhotoFusion and Transitions are very different in terms of performance. Having PhotoFusion has made me hate Transitions, which have a LOT of weaknesses, including very ugly tints and slow processing when exposed to UV light and when returning indoors. PhotoFusion are like having a dimmer switch, as they adapt so effortlessly to light. The blue tint is gorgeous. I get compliments on mine all the time, which blows my mind because most people hate "transition lenses" (in the US, at least, people think only one company makes photochromic lenses). Also, this is another comment for US-based people, but Zeiss lenses and coatings are superior to all others. I wear progressives, and have tried so many different brands and nothing (!) -- except Shamir, which are also pretty great -- even come close to Zeiss. I don't drive all that much, so I think photochromic is more important than sunglasses, or at least equally important. But in the spring and summer, if I just have my windows down or cracked, enough light gets in that my photochromic lenses work well enough. :-)
ОтветитьI've looked online and I can't seem to find approximate costs of either of these lenses. The photo fusion lenses would be with a prescription, so that's extra. However, I'd like to use the Adaptive Sun lenses when I'm wearing contacts. How much are the plano lenses?
ОтветитьAnother excellent video. Zeiss Adaptive Sun seems like the way to go. Even for the UK regular photochromic do not go dark enough. I think the UK is actually quite bright during spring and summer. Or maybe I am becoming more light sensitive...
ОтветитьNice to see you have taken your sunglasses collection out into the fresh air x
ОтветитьPhotochromic glasses are a game changer (I'm photophobic), but I just keep a pair of driving and sun glasses in my car which I rarely use.
ОтветитьWhat frames are you using with the photofusion???
ОтветитьThanks for the presentation and explanation. Both technologies are brilliant. I found with my sun adaptive they function really well indoors too (except in really dark light). If you can afford it definitely best to have both 👍
I think these Zeiss lenses are the best !
I had no idea windscreens blocked UV - always learning!
Roughly how long do the photofusion lenses take to change?
