THANK YOU!!!!!! this was so much of good knowledge.. I am a new highway driver and going to my first trip from NJ to DC.. and this boosted my confidence.. thanks!
ОтветитьGet the car with autopilot features people the drive is so much easier, the car just drives itself
ОтветитьHey man. I’m moving from southern new york and moving to myrtle beach later this week. I will be in a two man convoy with a 10ft uhaul and my car. we will be switching who drives what vehicle, and we’re both 19. Any tips for the situation?
Ответитьhey how’s the tolls average spending round trip?
ОтветитьGreat tips!
I'm mostly worried about pumping my own gas! I've lived in nj for 54 years & was married for half of that, so I've never had to do it. Now it'll just be my daughter (who has some minor special needs) & myself.. she cant drive. Everyone says "don't worry it's easy!" . Well of course it's easy...for YOU! UUGGH.
I've driven nonstop with a friend of mine who basically drove me nuts the whole way (you don't really know someone till your stuck in a car w them for 18hrs lol) I just want to get there & gtf away from that psycho b*tch🤣
I'm going to be making this trip by myself. Eastern MA to Orlando.
Giving myself three days to do it.
Will that be enough time to do it with comfortable amounts of rest?
We left NJ at like 8:30PM and made the drive nonstop. We arrived at pop century at like 1 pm I believe. Wasn’t bad at all.
ОтветитьGoing to my first road trip to Florida from Queens. Thanks for the tips 🤘🏼
ОтветитьWe are driving in April from Rochester ny (family of 7 3 adults and 4 children) and I am not looking forward to it lol so thanks for the tips
ОтветитьI BEEN SUB OVER YEAR
ОтветитьCrackle barrel
ОтветитьWe usually take the cape may ferry to Delaware
Ответитьgreat tips! I agree, DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS DRIVE NONSTOP! We have done the drive from Massachusetts several times now and this past summer was our first attempt at doing it non stop. We left our house at 7:30pm on a Friday, we were on the NJ Turnpike by midnight and over the Delaware Memorial Bridge at 1:45am. This was about the point that I began to get tired. I pushed through and we got to our next gas stop at 4:30am in Fredericksburg, VA. We grabbed some food and gas and we were back on the road. There was a very serious accident north on Richmond so it took us nearly 2 hours to get through Richmond. That was when I hit a wall (figuratively!!). I had to pull off and let my wife drive for a few hours. She was exhausted too but at least she got some sleep overnight. I took over again after a few hours and we switched 1 more time before I did the final stretch between South Carolina and Orlando. We pulled up to our hotel at 8:30pm, 25 hours after we left home and we could not get to sleep fast enough. We had planned a non stop on the way home but after the drive down we agreed we had to stop. We will never do that drive non stop again. It's not worth the risk.
ОтветитьWhare is your favorite place to stay at Disney
ОтветитьHey man, nice tips. I'm going with my mom and dad to Florida for vacation and we're driving because the rental is a lot of money for two weeks. I went in 2016 by car and hated the trip back. This time I'm actually really excited because I'm 21 and I have my own car so my dad and I will switch back and forth. The GPS says that its about 19 hours from where we live which is on Hudson County. Very excited for the road trip! Thanks for the tips!
ОтветитьYour videos have been very helpful driving to Orlando in a couple weeks from DE on the return trip any suggestions for over night stay
ОтветитьAny new videos coming out this week.
ОтветитьGreat tips. The drive portion of your Florida trips is often my favorite part of your vlogs, surprisingly!
ОтветитьJust us crickets here waiting for the uploads... Hope you well!
ОтветитьHi, what days are you going to Disney? I’m also going soon.
ОтветитьI’m getting ready for my first NJ to WDW drive next week. I wonder if we’ll be on the road the same time lol
ОтветитьLove the drive to FL. I leave midnight too from CT. Looking forward to your trip. Safe travels, STOP at LOVE’s!!
ОтветитьGreat video! Sweet tips. Can't wait until the video's get released. Stay safe brother 🙏🏻
ОтветитьWe try to not travel on I95 through DC and Virginia.
We definitely pick95 back up in the Carolinas.
We try to drive at night and sleep during the day.
Just did the drive in April via Cape May Ferry and overnight in Kingsland Ga so my last leg to Cape Canaveral was a cake walk , enjoy the trip and be safe .
I do this road trip almost every year but it will depend on the air fare next go around also thinking of moving down to Florida and I told the wife where do we vacation if we live in Florida? Lol
Which gps do you use google maps Waze or Apple Maps or built in navigation
ОтветитьAwesome video, I just came back from WDW driving from Philly suburbs not long ago and I wouldn’t trade that family bonding experience for the world. One major point you forgot to mention… the drive back home SUCKS and also beware of Virginia cops, they don’t play! Amped for your Disney vlogs!
ОтветитьThose were great tips, have a great time, be safe and have fun, are you taking the dogs with you 👍🙏❤️😎🐬🦀🐟🛥️🍊🍋🍉🥑🥥🌅⛽🛵⚓⛵🎥
ОтветитьI’m agreed with you. Flying is much more expensive than driving a car. Going with a train/public transportation is even more expensive than driving the car fro a to b. Specially when you’re with a family. And i’m also agreed with the good old roadtrip and spending time with your family. From All the vacations with my parents from when i was young I remember the car/roadtrip vacations the most. More than the flight vacations. It’s just more like a adventure. But i do think that driving in the States is more relaxed than here in Europe
ОтветитьCan’t wait to see the trip!!!
ОтветитьGoing through D.C was the hardest part for me with all the traffic and people swerving around me 😂 But otherwise it was amazing! I definitely will be driving every time we go now ❤️
