Controlled Folder Access dont work for me due to Admin even knowing i am the Administrator o.O

how do we know there is a virus in the file when opening it in the sandbox which it has no antivirus software or anything? especially malware, they'll operate in the background. How can we tell the sandbox is infected?

I tried using Bitlocker and it would not let me decrypt it. I had to delete all of the data to use the hard drive. I used the correct passcode and key.

Still running Win 7,and I use Sandboxie Plus,latest free sand-boxing software. In the 20 years I have been using it,I have never had malware issues. I am giving the developer a few bucks monthly to continue his work.

There are many virtual machines and almost everything is better than what the Windows sandbox can provide. And most of them don't have to pay.

If you have the Home edition you shorten pretty much the process, as the Home version doesn't feature many of these things.

Sandbox: I have a fresh windows 11 Pro installed. I did what you said and it would not open. Just got that gray box. I called MS tech support and they referred me to the developer and they said they only do business accounts. They said they don't support home users. So, that being said, what can I use as a 3rd party app to take the place of Sandbox?

After the restart, my Windows 11 Pro messaged me that something went wrong. It backed out the Sandbox update and 'blanked' the box out next to the sandbox option (removed my check).
My Version of Windows 11 Pro came with my new Dell in May 2023.

I can't find MS Defender Application Guard in my Windows Features. Using Win11 Home Single Language 22H2 that came with my Lenovo Legion laptop.

Antimalware Service Executable is the bane of my existence on Windows OS, especially at work where I have less control over it. I get its purpose; however, especially when offline, I just want it to stop interfering in processes, especially when running personally made code. Sometimes, it acts like malware when it take priorty over anything, which both makes sense and infuriating.

don't do anything in this video it will mess up your computer, if you do backup your system. There is a reason these are off by default.

I think vmware is better at testing stuff (I do not have windows 10/11 pro)

You can activate Core isolation by regedit when it's not suported

If you want total security just air gap your computer problem solved. No one will be able to get into your computer. ;)
